« This is seriously one of the best places I have ever visited. The staff were absolutely incredible -- they helped plan out my itinerary, arranged all the tickets, provided transportation. They didn't get into any games if up selling stuff. Everything was just honest support. The rooms and views were spectacular. Super clean. I rarely give reviews but the staff here are deserving of recognition. Absolutely one of the best places I've stayed. »

« I recently just went on a big China trip and visited the beautiful Zhangjiajie region. Staying at No. 5 Valley was an incredible experience. The host Frankie was super helpful and hospitable. The property is in a very scenic, remote area. Around 1 hour from Zhangjiajie Train Station.
The food options were vast and very accommodative and the resort. Had several activities going on throughout the day. Arts and crafts, tea ceremonies and much more.
I really enjoyed my stay and I'm looking forward...

The best part about our stay is having Frankie coordinate everything for us from pick up at train station, dinning, tickets to Zhangjaijei National park to the ins and outs of the area. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were very accommodating. I would love to stay here again next time I visit. »

« Super surprised by the quality and uniqueness of this hotel. The staff were super attentive, food was fantastic and the area is magical. There is a great hike right up the valley behind the hotel. I was there during the quiet season (winter), so unfortunately the bar/cafe in the common area wasn't open, but it looks like it would be a cool place to hang throughout the rest of the year. « Super freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Die Lage ist sensationell mit einem grandiosen Blick auf die Berge vom Pool aus. Frühstück ist typisch chinesisch und sehr gute Qualität. Sie bieten einen Transfer zum Eingang des Nationalparks an, welcher nur ein paar Autominuten entfernt ist.
Unser Zimmer war bei Ankunft leider nicht geheizt, so dass es etwas gedauert hat, bis es warm war. »

The indoor swimming pool is not open year round like I thought though and the restaurants close earlier during non-peak travel season so rely on room service if you want food late (it was good food). »
