We had a wonderful time at the Intercontinental and stayed on the sixth floor. Our room looked over the river which was just beautiful. In the shower was body was,shampoo and conditioner all on tap and lovely products. At the basin was soap and moisturiser on tap. Just beautiful. We had 2 bottles of water each day. All of these things along with a marvellous buffet breakfast made our stay really great. This hotel has a grea location close to the train. The adelaide oval. The tram and the casino. When i say close i mean really close. Very convenient..

I stay two night. First night the sheet have blood spot and the pillow had bad smell. They exchange in second light. All the facilities look like old and need renovation.

Needs an urgent upgrade - tv options were 2 star, had to join netflix, stan, paramount just to get basic movie options. Main bar dirty with flint and hair all over the floor. Walls in the bedroom you could see dirt, and scuff marks. Blood stains at the entrance to the room on the carpet. Overall a disappointing experience. We have had better eperiences throughout asia for all of the above and didn't cost an arm and a leg.

Friendly, cheerful & courteous staff, clean room & a good breakfast to start your day. As a frequent traveler to Adelaide I stay at the InterContinental every time as it’s so close to Adelaide Oval for the AFL games I attend, also Casino is right next door & Rundle Mall only a few minutes walk.

Booked a room, river facing, to watch the fireworks on New Year’s Eve and to celebrate a birthdays. It was an awesome experience! Only thing that puzzled me though was, for a five star hotel, No toothbrush in the bathroom toiletry. Overall, 9/10.

Intercontinental Adelaide is my home away from home. I continue choosing to stay here because from the moment I arrive I’m welcomed by friendly staff. Being the weekend of New Years it was very busy but all the staff were welcoming with a friendly smile. Thank you to all the staff and especially the staff in the Club Lounge who always go above and beyond to make sure I’m taken care of and always have a memorable stay. I really enjoyed using the amenities especially the swimming pool. I hope to be back again soon.
