Paid for extended check out time (noon) but then we were awoken by knocks on the door at 11am. Didn't get in until 2am, so we needed the rest. Didn't turn out as we needed
Our room had no lamp, fridge or microwave. Furniture had marker draws and side was scratched. Room next door (where friends stayed ) had above amenities but was dirty. They bought Lysol wipes to clean the room. Both paid the same price. Good thing we were only there to sleep.
only thing i was disappointed about was the fact that when i booked it online it said there would be a couch in the room but there wasnât. and the bedside light didnât work which meant we only had one big bright light.
Never again. From the bugs on the floor, a spit ball and grocery store fruit sticker on the bathroom walls to the toothpaste dripping down the outside of the sink, I had a feeling we were in trouble cleanliness wise. Morning showers consisted of 100% hot water, 100% cold water, or water turned off. There was no way to make the water temperature medium, or even lukewarm. The staff was friendly, but apparently could not determine âwhere can we go to eat around here?â from âwe would like an extra room key.â we did feel safe in the area, and even being quite close to a highway, it was quiet.
The room was filthy. Brown liquid splattered on the over head light, dirt smudges on the light switches and doors, red splatters and random stickers on furniture. Online photos are misrepresentative of the actual spaces. The TV was broken. The bathroom door was closed and when I opened it a wave of mold smell permeated the entire room and triggered my allergies. We notified the main office that we couldnât stay there and needed to check out. They had offered us a new room but the place was so skeevey we would not be able to settle in. The clerk told me Expedia would work with us on the refund. Expedia told us we had to work with the hotel to get a refund since we paid on site. I called the hotel office and then got more run around.
