It’s naturally disappointing to read your review especially as this is the first and only feedback that you’ve provided from your stay, which was almost three weeks ago. As detailed in the booking information that we emailed you prior to your arrival, we do ask that you let us know immediately if there is anything that does not meet your expectations to allow us to rectify this. If you had contacted us on your arrival, using the direct email address and mobile telephone number provided, we could have attended to the issues that you’ve raised. Unfortunately we’ve not been provided with the opportunity to do that. With regards to the cleanliness of the pod it is really difficult to comment on this almost three weeks after your stay however we are operating with increased cleaning practices with all the individual steps taken detailed on a checklist which is left in the pod for your arrival. Again, noting the concern that you report that the door caused you, it is difficult for us to address your concern almost three weeks following your stay. We have since received feedback from a guest about the door and this was addressed and rectified through a minor adjustment to the hinges on the same day as it was reported. We are also unsure of where you may have read that the pod has an oven as we are unable to find this anywhere in our literature and we provide a number of photos of the pod including the kitchen area. The pod is well equipped with a microwave and a hob, along with an under counter fridge freezer and toaster. With regards to the final piece of feedback (about the pod) we are unsure of why you were unable to use the heater as this has the recommended clearance as provided by the manufacturer of this item. We have never had any feedback to suggest that the pod is cluttered, and we’ve stripped out everything that is non essential or presents an increased and unnecessary risk in view of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. The only item that may have been placed next to this area is a small stick vacuum cleaner however if you did require to put the heater on then this could have easily been moved next to the Dyson cooling tower, by the bathroom door. In case the vacuum had been left in this area and it was unclear that this could be moved we will provide instruction to the lady who cleans the pod for us to ask that the vacuum is left next to the cooling tower from now on.
