Short stop over in Oxford, nice brand new hotel, but in this time of covid19, we didn't tase the full services. The dinner and breakfast they proposed is really not great, but it's done without opening the kitchen....

We have made efforts to provide meals to the guests, in a safe way - sorry to hear that you did not find breakfast and dinner to your liking which has been slightly limited keeping in mind safety of our guests. Excellent hotel for work on Harwell campus
Lovely hotel, excellent breakfast, rooms are clean, calm and comfy. Location is ideal to drive to the Harwell campus. Nothing much at walking distance.

Overall very good, staff were all great. A shame breakfast closes quite early and the quality wasn't much different to a 3*. Our kettle wasn't working properly and unfortunately there weren't any replacements available but otherwise everything was in good condition and very clean. Some food vending machines or a room service menu would be nice as there is not much for vegetarians locally.

We had an average stay, I expected a bit more. The standout element were the staff, they were very friendly and so helpful all the time! They went out of their way to check us in a bit earlier. What let it down are a few things, some of the tiles in our bathroom were broken, the shower floor needed a good scrub, there was a suspicious stain on the carpet (I did report this to be cleaned) and there was a very large gap (you could fit a couple of stacked pieces of paper through it!) at the bottom of our door that let in a lot of light and noise. We would still stay here again though, as the location is great and the staff really lovely.

The young man who welcomed us on arrival was friendly and very helpful. What I was disappointed with was I booked a superior room with a king-size bed and a bed settee, the king-size bed was two singles pushed together and there was no bed settee, my husband has a false leg and cannot watch the television sat on the bed he needs a comfy chair to sit on, there was an office type chair but on the room I booked was a settee, I asked if they could get something suitable but they came back with another stool , like any hotels the duvet covers are never the right size to fir duvets and all the spare cover gets tucked in the end of the bed , all hotels get the right size cover for duvet and it need not be tucked in! The breakfast was disappointing, cold, no ketchup, and very slow at finding it, all juices were empty, so we cancelled breakfast for second morning, I would stay again for convenience but would check before arriving what I was getting in my Room

Booking is for executive room, during check in time we were asked to wait but no one came to update us until I approached reception then I new room was ready. I was confuse when I went to the room our keycard has 2 room numbers, when I checked they then informed that we were given 2 rooms due to executive room not available. It would have been fine but with proper communication and not to assume we knew.
