The house is all one level. There are no stairs to get inside. To help give your mind a walkthrough of how the house is set up, here’s a brief description of each area of the house.
➤ The living room contains two sleeper sofas and an armchair, with a coffee table that has a sliding top where we store bedding for sleeper sofas.
➤ There are also 2 fold-away beds located in the master closet. This property can comfortably sleep 10 guests.
➤ All 3 bedrooms have a queen-sized bed to accommodate up to 2 guests per room.
➤In the Kitchen, there is a designated workspace for anyone needing to get some work done.
➤ The Kitchen shares space with the dining area (all in one room) and is fitted with a large enough table to seat 6-8 people, 6 chairs remain around the table at all times, and there is a chair at the desk and also another chair in the master bedroom if you need to seat 8.
➤ The patio has 2 chairs and an outdoor coffee table. Hanging patio lights help set a relaxing mood in the evening.
➤ There are 2 full bathrooms with showers and the guest bathroom has a tub. One in the master bedroom and one in the hallway.
➤ Guests will have access to the entire home except for the hall closet which is set aside as our maid and maintenance closet.
➤ The Front door has an electronic smart lock, so no physical keys are needed to get checked in! We will provide the 4-digit code with the check-in instructions before arrival, If there are any issues, we can help you unlock or lock it remotely. The lock does require someone close at hand in order to lock/unlock it (even if we send a signal to it to lock and or unlock).
ARRIVING:
Go to the front door and enter your guest specific 4 digit code, which you should have received by email. After you enter your four-digit code, press the lock/unlock button at the top of the lock. The door will unlock. The door will automatically lock again after a few seconds.
Whenever you leave the property, simply press the lock/unlock button at the top of the lock. Listen for the door to latch and test it to make sure it is secure. PLEASE NOTE: THE ELECTRONIC LOCKS DO NOT LOCK AUTOMATICALLY. PLEASE LOCK THE DOOR EACH TIME YOU LEAVE.
DEPARTURE: There is a $50 charge for leaving the premises unsecured. Your departure will be at 11:00 AM on your checkout date.
PARKING: There is free parking in the street out front and we also have a carport in the back that is accessible through the alleyway.
NEIGHBORS: Also, the next-door neighbor has requested that our guests not use her driveway as a turnaround. We would greatly appreciate our guests respecting this boundary so that we have good relations with our neighbors.
PETS: 2 small dogs (under 50 lbs) are allowed, but guests are required to pick up after their dogs. There is a $50 pet fee. If unapproved pets are brought, there will be a $250 fee.
SMOKING: We are a NON-SMOKING property. If there is evidence of smoking on our property, there will be a $750 fine and you will be asked to leave the property without a refund.
TV: There is a Roku TV in the living room. Feel free to sign into your own subscription services for Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, YouTube TV, and Prime Video. Be sure to sign out of your accounts before Checkout to prevent future guests from using your subscriptions.
EARLY CHECK-IN and LATE CHECK-OUT REQUESTS:
Before you arrive in town, we need to ensure our previous guests have checked out, that the maid service and maintenance have been through the unit, and that linens and towels are fresh and ready for your visit. All this takes time and needs to be done before you check in. Early Check-ins may be requested for an additional $25/hr (if approved). Approvals are not guaranteed and are pending communication with the cleaning/maintenance team. Requests for early check-ins must be made before 10:00 am of your check-in date, and are not guaranteed to be approved.
For Late Check-outs:
We have to coordinate with our cleaning and maintenance teams, to ensure that the next guest has a clean and smoothly run stay. Cleaning crews must work to plan out multiple cleanings in a day at properties that are not in the same location. Therefore, requests for Late Check-outs must be made before 5:00 pm the day before check-out. There will be an additional $25 fee (if approved). Approvals are not guaranteed and are pending communication with the cleaning/maintenance team. If you are late checking out without approval, then there will be an additional $40 fee for checking out late.
PLEASE NOTE: CHECK-IN TIME IS ANYTIME AFTER 4 PM. The code you've been provided (by email) will only work starting at that time. Please make your travel plans accordingly.
When requesting the door code in the messaging center, please provide your email and the secret Code word: Carousel.
