Very accommodating host, they go out of their way to make your stay amazing . The house is located in a quite peaceful setting and very comfortable. This property is better stocked for anything you might need better than my own home is. We will definitely plan to return here. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Rang in the New Year under a clear country sky

The family and I enjoyed our stay, using the excellent BBQ to grill up some yummy food we enjoyed in the quiet countryside (aside from some adjacent fireworks). The home is lovely, with a great big TV and plenty of content to enjoy. Bed is comfy and the shower is great. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Quick Getaway

My wife and I needed some time away to relax and found this gem. Beautiful country location with great pool and stocked refrigerator. Wi-Fi on site and nothing but peace and quiet! Thanks Janice for a great time!

Perfect

Janice and David were perfect host. Pool house was spacious and had everything you could possibly need. Extremely clean and comfortable. Is located in the country which is very peaceful but within 5 miles of restaurants. Has a beautiful pool area with well maintained flowers and yard.

Stop looking! You have found it! We can’t say enough about The Cajun Getaway and it’s host, Mrs. Janice. With perfect accommodations, beautiful landscaping (and pool), comfortable layout, and wonderfully secluded location

The Cajun Getaway

We only had a few days for our Anniversary so we just went to near by Tabasco Plant and gardens and the RIP VAN WINKLE GARDENS.Janice and her husband were very accommodating and we were very impressed with how large and well stocked the place was .the pool is beautiful and the place is just precious.Hope to make it our annual anniversary get away , great place to unwind .Dennis and Donna

Family fun

My family enjoyed the Cajun Getaway! The spacious house and large pool were amazing to relax and enjoy family time together. Stocked items in kitchen made it easy to enjoy a meal on site or cook healthy meals. Thank you for your thoughtfulness on this. Owners are around to help if need and are very friendly. 10 minutes or so from town to go shopping or see a movie. Looking forward to returning. You will love this property!

Quick getaway before starting a new job

WOW! Luxurious and comfortable, well-stocked with all necessary consumables. A perfect, quiet getaway in pretty surroundings! Gracoius hosts and very, very nice outdoor amenities, as well.

Oh my!

This was really a nice place! Amenities, amenities, amenities. They thought of everything. I was thankful because I didn't really want to have to get out much. They've gone above and beyond. Quaint. Cozy. One bedroom for a couple, but the kitchen, dining, and outside has ideal spacing. Books, games are extra. The pool is not too deep if you have young one. I didn't have to use all of the amenities, but I did get to use a few things that I had accidentally forgotten, but needed. I got to meet the owners. They were very cordial. Tastefully decorated. Lots of us ideas to duplicate . I do plan to return.

Just Perfect

My husband and I wanted/needed a small getaway for our anniversary. We didn't want to travel far and found Cajun Getaway. It was perfect. We have gone to many rentals over the years and we have never been to one where there were so many thoughtful incidentals. There was no need for a trip to a store for something forgotten, because if it wasn't here we just didn't need it. Hosts were very friendly and helpful, the grounds were beautiful and there were far too many warm and homey touches that were welcoming to mention. The pool was a God send! We will book again!

Home away from home

Beautiful home and a wonderful place to stay. The property manager was accommodating and a pleasure to speak with. Everything about the home was clean and the pool and property were very well kept. There was even a quant area with hammock, swings and garden lights to enjoy. The freshly stocked fridge and pantry with all the dishes and cooking supplies needed made our stay easy and convenient. We even got to enjoy a family dinner poolside and my kids loved it. Highly recommend this home and plan to return in the future. Thanks again!

Best experience ever!!

As soon as we arrived Janice was there to welcome us and walk us through the property, she had everything looking beautiful, cozy and with extra touches (basket of toys, kids toothbrush and toothpaste in case we forgot one, chargers for our phones, makeup wipes, 1st aid kit, the list goes on and on) Janice also has that warm southern hospitality that you wish you could bottle up and take back with you ❀ I will definitely go back, if I had a choice I never would've left.
