« Stayed in a Garden Room which was lovely and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom and comfortable chairs for a pre-dinner drink. Enjoyed Breakfast both in the hotel and in the pub. Good base for two days of walking. »

« Beautiful hotel, very clean and comfortable. Delicious food both breakfast and dinner. All staff were clean and smartly dressed and were very friendly and helpful. The dining room staff were very attentive and never let you feel forgotten about or missed out. A very relaxing stay. »

« Hotel very clean and freshly painted. Great view of the sea. Our room was clean and modern but noisy as next to the bar and water evacuation pipes just next to our bed. Probably got the hotels.com room. Breakfast booked for 9 am - very good but service disorganised. »

« Lovely pub atmosphere in the restaurant. The room was spacious, very clean and lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Would certainly recommend. »

« The property itself and the host and hostess were fabulous. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. It was walkable into Alnwick. The only problem is the back path from the house into Alnwick is rough and very uneven and is not lit. I have mobility issues and we made it both nights without any issues however I would have liked an easier walk. »
