« Stayed in a Garden Room which was lovely and had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom and comfortable chairs for a pre-dinner drink. Enjoyed Breakfast both in the hotel and in the pub. Good base for two days of walking. »

« Nice pub with standard rooms. In nice location, central and easy to find. Easy and friendly check in, nice cooked breakfast too. Beds comfy. Shower was a little small. Whilst they didn't have anywhere to store bicycles indoors overnight, we were able to lock them under shelter in the tucked away Car Park at the back. Overall ideal for our one night stay. »

« Hotel very clean and freshly painted. Great view of the sea. Our room was clean and modern but noisy as next to the bar and water evacuation pipes just next to our bed. Probably got the hotels.com room. Breakfast booked for 9 am - very good but service disorganised. »

« The property itself and the host and hostess were fabulous. The room was quiet and had everything we needed. It was walkable into Alnwick. The only problem is the back path from the house into Alnwick is rough and very uneven and is not lit. I have mobility issues and we made it both nights without any issues however I would have liked an easier walk. »

« Fantastic Georgian country house, most comfortable bed I’ve slept in when away from home. Host is knowledgeable about surrounding area and is very attentive. »
