"Nice motel on the beach in Amelia Island."
2 story motel style accommodation, door opens to the outside. Motel is quiet & rooms are well kept, clean, nicely furnished. Our room had an oceanview, there are no balconies, just a window. There are 2 plastic chairs & a plastic table outside of each room. Rooms have a coffee maker & small refrigerator, great for leftovers, drinks, snacks, etc., hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The rooms were a good size with the sink & mirror at the end & bath with toilet and tub to the right of sink area. Beds were very comfortable with 4 pillows on each bed. Linens were great, towels were not super deluxe but still a nice and soft quality. Small soap, small bottle of shampoo & conditioner is provided as well as a makeup washcloth and makeup remover pad. The pool was fenced in & had plastic lounge chairs as well as tables with umbrellas and chairs. No beach towels are provided. There is a wood walk down to the beach and the beach is beautiful. Very walkable beach with lots of shells. Expedia shows a breakfast buffet included in the rate, should be continental breakfast. In the small office, the motel provides coffee, apples and oranges, packaged danish. I thought it was nice of them to offer something but it is not a buffet breakfast as listed. The motel advertises it as coffee and sweet treats. Restaurant right across the street offers pub fare-burgers, wraps, salads, wings, appetizers, etc. with indoor & outdoor seating. Very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
