Description

Explore the historic landmarks of Quebec City's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then, venture out of town into the countryside, visiting the church at Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, the impressive chutes at Montmorency Falls, and the village of Sainte-Pétronille on the Ile-d’Orléans.

Immerse yourself in the modern atmosphere and the storied past of Quebec City as you tour the architectural landmarks and historic sights of Old Town. Walk across the cobbled Place Royale, admire the towering Château Frontenac. See the Notre Dame de Québec Basilica–the oldest parish in the Americas north of Mexico–and then make your way out of the city, stopping by the battlefield at the Plains of Abraham before continuing to the countryside.

Pass by small towns and villages on your way to Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré. This charming hamlet’s basilica has drawn in pilgrims, seeking the miraculous healing powers of the statue enshrined in its church, for centuries. We will be stopping at the Shrine for 30-45 minutes. We will also stop at the Copper Art Museum and Boutique Albert Gilles for 20 minutes on our way to Sainte-Anne de Beaupré.

Next, stop at thundering Montmorency Falls for 30-45 minutes. At a towering 84 metres (275 feet) tall, these powerful cascades are the highest in the province of Quebec and a full 30 metres (100 feet) taller than Niagara Falls.

Finally, make your way to Sainte-Pétronille, located on the Ile-d’Orléans in the Saint Lawrence River. Ride by rolling vineyards, visit the village’s chocolate shop and soak up the rural atmosphere, before returning to the city.

The morning guide Jean is extremely rude, arrogant and racist. It was the worst tour experience for me. To my luck, afternoon part was guided by Patrick and Benoit, two great gentlemen

Allen was great. Full of information and excellent driver even on snowy roads! Showed us beautiful sights with informative narratives.
