If it is essential that you to find luxury lodging for your next vacation in Red River Gorge, Kentucky, this cabin is it. Everything from the color of the kitchen's under counter lighting to the whole home sound system, control of this Google Smart home is a voice command away! No expense was spared on any of the long host of amenities featured in this smart home.

Located in Cliffview Resort, this is a large modern cabin that can sleep up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. Two Bedrooms are on the main level: One has a queen bed and the 2nd with a twin bunk bed with a flat screen TV for gaming (BYO console and cable). Both share a full bathroom with tile shower. The 3rd bedroom in the lower level has a queen bed and shares a full bathroom with tub/shower combo and the epitome of wealth and sophistication: a urinal! The 4th bedroom is the top floor master suite with a queen bed and private full bath with tile shower stall in addition to a private balcony, work desk and reading area with sectional couch!

The main floor hosts a large great room with full kitchen including refrigerator w/ automatic ice-maker, dishwasher, filtered water dispenser, oven/range, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and all the kitchenware needed for a weekend getaway or extended stay. The living room area with dining table features fiber optic Wi-Fi, a New 65'' smart TV (2025) with cable TV, whole home indoor/outdoor sound system, electric fireplace in a beautiful stone hearth, and couch seating to enjoy. Floor to ceiling picture frame windows above the Glass doors open up the main living space to the covered deck showcasing the stunning mountain view. The main level deck features built in lounge seating, table and chairs for dining, outdoor games, a beautiful stone Natural Gas Grill that will leave even the most hardcore grill master envious, and large hot tub with seating for 6-7 overlooking the mountain view. Down the steps from the main level deck is a fire pit with bench seating for all.

The bottom level den has a 2nd living room with couch seating, a game room with a pool table, a dry bar with seating, a multi game arcade system and flat screen smart TV with Cable TV and smart sound system. In addition, this cabin comes with a wide range of amenities including central heat and air, ceiling fans indoors and out on the deck, and full washer and dryer for use.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

The location and house was great! We loved the view and porch. The hot tub was nice and it had a great fire pit. It did need some lights replaced in the main living area/kitchen which made it a little dark to work on our puzzles. It being a smart google house was great. Didn’t expect there not to be any bath soap (so had to pickup at a store) and wasn’t fan of the microfiber bath towels. We would just bring our own next time. We would love to visit the area again someday in the warmer weather.

Very nice cabin and it accommodated the 6 of us just fine. I slept upstairs and the fan was really in need of a good cleaning as well as the fixtures. The lights were all covered in dust and dirt. The basement was very dingy and needed brighter lights. We couldn't leave any food on the counter or it would be full of tiny ants. The VRBO site shows a TV in the bedroom but there's only one TV in the bunk bed room. The worst thing was all the fees added on to the price of the rental price! Other than those issues the cabin was very nice and had a great view.The firepit was really nice too and they leave you some wood for it. I would probably stay again.

Perfect Getaway

Zero disappointments here! This cabin has all we needed to enjoy a week in the wilderness. Close to the fun but not in it, the Lazy Bear cabin allowed our group to play in the area and relax and recover in every way at the end of the day. Plenty of space for our 8 people and all the amenities needed for the perfect cabin experience. The kids loved the game room and s'mores at the fire pit The adults loved the hot tub and large porch. Its being among a resort of cabins was an unexpected surprise we didn't know we needed. Loved being way back in the woods and having the cafe, ponds, and excursions nearby. We were already discussing another trip here on our way home!

Great view in a neighborhood mountain forest setting

Great cabin with plenty of room for multiple teenagers. They enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub is also huge. We loved the pretty view and spacious deck and seating at the fire pit. Try Redpoint BBQ while there, the food is amazing!

Call the week before if you don’t have check in info

The cabin was very nice but the refrigerator smelled very strongly of fish. Even the box of baking soda in the fridge didn’t help. There were several cobwebs around showing that it probably needed a little more cleaning. I never received any check in information so I emailed and called the property manager the day before and multiple times as I was driving to the cabin but no one answered. We finally got in touch with their after hours service after 6pm and they were able to give us the directions and code to get in. You should also bring your own pillows because the ones on the beds are awful.

Excellent property for a group looking for a great weekend away.

Great getaway location. Fully stocked with everything you need. Fire pit is perfect, hot tub is HUGE, pool table and man cave are awesome, and for the morning walkers, the location is great as you get some really good hills to stretch out on. Overall great place and my group is already saying we should rent again. Excellent place to enjoy your weekend getaway (or longer).

My 13 year old sons, and I had the best time at this cabin! It had it all!

The cabin itself was amazing! It had so much room and fully stocked. Enjoyed making meals there as well as playing pool and hanging out downstairs after a long day of hiking. Reviews were spectacular and we enjoyed soaking it in while relaxing in the hot tub a great time was had by all!

They had all you could need. The kitchen was fully stocked, and plenty of toilet paper, and Bath to.

We had the best time. The views where amazing. And the hikes are always amazing. There are plenty of places to get Adult drinks if needed.

Lovely cozy cabin

We loved our stay. Unfortunately the google home devices didnt work a lot of the time due to the internet being very spotty. It affected our access to TV, and lighting. The floors really need a good cleaning, and the hot tub was very low on water. Otherwise, the sleeping arrangements, area, cooking in the kitchen, and quiet atmosphere was amazing. The neighbors began using the chainsaw at 8am which was pretty early for us when on xmas vacation.
