🛏️ Home comforts – Three fridges, two freezers, sun loungers and pool toys (also great to take to the nearby lake).

🌄 Explore the area – Easy day trips to Granada, the coast, the Sierra Nevada and a lovely nearby lake beach (around a 30‑minute drive).

Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the whole house barring the Pool Pump Room. Due to the chemicals stored we do not give access to this part of the house.

• Granada and the Alhambra are about 60 minutes away.

• Lake Iznájar’s sandy beach is around 30 minutes away.

• Sierra Nevada’s hiking and skiing are under 90 minutes by car.

• The Costa del Sol is roughly an hour away, while local restaurants, bars and traditional village life are right on your doorstep, so you can enjoy authentic Andalusian charm without long drives every day.



Getting Around:

A car is strongly recommended to make the most of the area and reach nearby towns, the lake, the coast and the Sierra Nevada. Parking is available at the house, and most key sights such as Granada, the Costa del Sol and Lake Iznájar can be reached in about 30–60 minutes by car, with the mountains a little further. Taxis and transfers can be arranged in advance, but they are not as readily available as in big cities, so planning ahead is advised.



Other Things to Note:

📅 Pool availability

The heated pool is available from April–June and October–December and is closed from January–April. We need at least one week’s notice to heat the pool to around 30 degrees; for last‑minute bookings (for example in November), we may not be able to reach full temperature in time.

❄️ Air conditioning

The house has two portable air‑conditioning units located in the double bedrooms. As this is a rural property with limited electrical capacity, it is not possible to run fixed air‑conditioning units in every room.

📸 Security

The house is protected by an alarm system monitored by Securitas. Cameras are only active when the alarm is set and remain disabled during guest stays, so you can enjoy your privacy.

🧴 Towels

Bath towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels for use on the sun loungers and at the lake.

📑 Guest registration

In accordance with Spanish law, passport details must be provided for all guests staying at the property



Interaction with Guests:

We do not live in Spain, so we stay in touch with you via the booking platform for any questions before or during your stay. Our local maintenance team and cleaners are on hand if anything needs attention at the house, so you still have support on the ground while enjoying full privacy at Casa Tranquil.
