  • Riverfront property with great view of the river from cottage deck or the gazebo. Access to the river with a shared kayak ramp for fishing, kayaking or other watersports. Close to the Kinzua Dam and other sight.
    seeing spots. Great areas close by for hiking, biking, lots of sightseeing. Wolf Marina on Kinzua Dam rent pontoon boats, Allegheny Outfitters rent kayaks and canoes. Allegheny National forest has lots of state game land for hunting. If you are bringing a riverboat a flat bottom with a jet motor is recommended. We also have free WIFI.
    Cottage has well water.

    We just added a 4 person inflatable hot tub. use at your own risk. please do not have any glass or sharp objects around the hot tub. children under 18 must be supervised by an adult. the hot tub will be open from May till November 23.

Wonderful Little Riverfront Cottage

We completely enjoyed our stay right on the river. The property was in a great location and provided everything we needed for a little weekend getaway.

This place didn't disappoint. The river view and fishing under the canopy was fun for all with room to relax and swim as well. We had some rain, but was still able to enjoy the fresh air with the covered deck. Rooms were nice and we had everything we needed to make the stay a nice relaxing experience. If we are ever back that way, I would definitely book again.

We had a great family trip at this charming cottage on the Alleghany. It’s quiet, cozy, and right on the water — perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The cottage was clean, well-stocked, and felt like a true escape. A lovely spot if you’re looking to unplug and enjoy nature!

Weekend on the River

Perfect place for 3 couples who want access to the river to stay! The house had everything we needed and more. We loved the swings overlooking the river and enjoyed hanging out on the porch as well. Would definitely stay again in the future!

Beautiful peaceful location

The cottage was perfectly located on a quiet river. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is a great place. House was in very good condition and the owners were very helpful. Highly recommend this VRBO!

Tbh we didn’t stay at the house much as we were there to fish…. But… the house is very comfortable and clean. Nice beds, comfortable sofas, air conditioning was good, bathroom spacious. The outdoor property is great with nice views over the river. The private launch was great for us. We put our fishing kayaks In at the back yard and floated down about 13 miles to about Tidoutte. Walmart and other spots are only 10-15 min away… great spot I’d come back again.

Long Weekend

We wanted to make a long weekend mini-vacation while in the area for a family reunion. The cottage was perfect for us - a lot of outdoor space, the river for fishing and the fire pit for hot dogs and s’mores. Plus the house had everything we needed.

Very nice, good layout and very clean.great back yard and large deck. The views were awesome, they have a small pavilion with swings, right on the river. And mountains on both sides. Definitely will come back again.

Spring Break Stay

Stayed a few days while on spring break. Enjoyed some trails in the Allegheny National Forest. The Dunns Eddy Cabin was a perfect home base for our family. Very clean, and cozy cabin on the river. We enjoyed some fishing in the river out back and also really enjoyed the swings overlooking the river! Some great local food just minutes away…would definitely come back and stay again.

Perfect Getaway

My family and I were very pleased with our stay. It was great to be back in PA again. The location on the banks of the Allegheny was beautiful. The property was clean and well kept. The kitchen had everything we needed. The size was perfect for the six of us. If I get another chance to go back, I'll definitely stay here again.

Great Riverview Getaway

The location was convenient to visit family in the area. It was adequately equipped for whatever we needed. The only thing that was slightly disappointing is that the listing said 1 bathrooms, which ended up being a toilet beside the washer and dryer and NO DOOR for privacy.

Weekend getaway

We had a great time and weather was beautiful. When we visit again I would bring baby gate for the porch for my son to make things little eaiser. Loved the porch over the river. The owner was great and responsive!

Nice river veiws

The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. But the best part of this listing is the beautiful river views. We were here in the winter but I can image canoeing or kayaking here. Roberta answered all my questions quickly and nicely.
