Trivsamt ställe i en liten håla vid Dartmoors utkant. Enda egentliga minuset var att badrummet, som förvisso var bekvämt och fint, endast kunde nås genom en med andra gemensam korridor.

A great B&B

What a great B&B. The proprietors were very helpful and understanding when my travel plans changed and I had to arrive late in the evening. Everything you could want in a B&B - clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly.

A great place to stay. The house was spotless the breakfasts were great. Plenty of choice. Angela and Steve couldn't do enough for us. Going back again in 3 weeks

Enjoyable break

Lovely clean and comfortable. Bed fantastic. Lovely private garden to sit out in - sole use with the room we stayed in. Good food, fresh local produce. Friendly hosts - nothing was too much trouble. We shall return!

Pleasant B&B near my brother's home

I needed a place to stay in the Yelverton area for two nights during the Winter Solstice season in order to spend some time with my brother and his family. They live nearby but, for family reasons, don't have enough space to provide me with a room even for a short stay. Barnabas House proved to be an excellent choice. My brother and his family have taken note of this so that they can recommend the same place next time they have friends or relatives needing a place to stay.

Great B and B

Just what was needed after a long drive up from London when relocating to Devon. The welcome from Carolyn was great, the room delightful and the breakfast lovely. Would recommend highly.

It was a lovely hotel in a lovely village

Excellent hotel with a good selection on the breakfast menu the room was a good size and the cleanliness was outstanding Carolyn the owner was very helpful with telling us the local places to go and see we will recommend this hotel to all our friends

Very nice room

I stayed here with my girlfriend for two nights. The owner welcomed us even if checked-in later than the check-in time and has been very nice in showing us the room and offering help to suggest us what to visit in the surroundings. The room is nice and clean, has a small garden with flower and fast wi-fi connection. There are many items like tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge. The bed is very comfortable and the place is very silent (even though we were right in front of the dining room, in the morning we were disturbed neither by noise nor by smells). The bathroom has everything needed and a large shower. The breakfast is very good with English breakfast, fruit, cereals, and cakes. The location is not in the middle of the countryside so there is less green than I was expecting (it's not in the countryside). It is very conveniently located to access Dartmoor National Park and has car parking. I really liked the place and would sleep there again.

Sehr nettes B&B

Sehr freundlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeberin. Viele nette Informationen und Tipps zur Gegend. Das Zimmer war etwas beengt, aber sehr sauber und sehr gemütlich. Das Bad war absolut ok und Kaffee/Tee Bereiter standen bereit. WiFi funktionierte ausgezeichnet, kostenloses Parken am Haus.Das Frühstück war exzellent und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Im nahe gelegenen Pub konnte man typisch zu Abend essen.Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!!

Support at a Time of need

Faced a difficult personal problem locally, the Hotel, its staff and the environs were just what was needed. The staff were particularly understanding. I'd recommend the hotel to anyone. The Hotel had all that I needed for my visit and I'd liked to have had more time to explore the many amenities in the area.

sehr saubere, ordentliche und gepflegte Zimmer; sehr gutes Frühstück (neben dem typischen englischen Frühstück gab es auch Müsli und frisches Obst); schöne Lage am Rand des Dartmoors, guter Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen; sehr freundliche Besitzer; sehr gute Tipps für Wanderungen erhalten

Great for our one night stay, warm welcome on our late arrival. Room was upgraded as B & B was quiet. Room had everything we required including fridge with fresh milk. Lovely breakfast.

Short stay in Yelverton

Without doubt the best B&B we have ever used. Spotlessly clean and comfortable with a very high decorative standard. Breakfast was excellent and varied and the service was very friendly. Hosts were very helpful and informative about the local area. They clearly take great pride in the B&B and it shows. We will probably return in the future.
