« This house is so much bigger than we expected and was perfect for a quick weekend with my adult kids. From the provided yoga mats and coffee, to the easy walk into town for coffee, food and shops, this was the perfect stay! The plants in every room and beautiful yard with a hot tub and fire pit are just the cherry on the top. We will be staying here again! »

« Tried to contact host 4 times leading up to our stay. No response. We never received a response or access to the home. VRBO advised me they were cancelling our stay 1 hour after we were supposed to check in. Our last resort was a below average hotel. Don’t take your chances on this one »

« I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again! »

« Great place! Could walk to downtown which is so important as there’s no easy parking! Very busy! You get a parking spot and the bus picks up right out front! Hot tub was the best ever after hiking all day! Would have liked hot tub towels but other than that, it was perfect! »

« We were in town for a graduation. Great property for gathering with old friends and family. Convenient and very comfortable. Spotless and well stocked with necessities. We enjoyed the front porch, fire pit, card table, large dining table and very comfortable family room recliners. The off street parking was a bonus! Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. We will stay here again! »

« The house is very clean and comfortable. We had snacks and some beverages provided which came in handy. 15 minutes from the University of Dayton. My 92 year old father came and he could easily navigate around the house with his walker.The bathtubs are slippery though and can be challenging. My suggestion to Paschal is to please check that everything is working. The bedroom by the kitchen- the lamp does not work. And the fan remote in the living room was not functioning. »
