« This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station...

« Being able to stay in a Japanese traditional small home with ALL modern accessories in a totally walkable castle town without overwhelming crowds is something special. The staff is very accommodating, the included breakfast and optional dinner are excellent. And the several touristic sites, including two villas and gardens, as well as the castle are worth the visit. »
