« I recently stayed at "Kappa no Yado Ryokan Sanjiro" in Zao during my trip to Sendai. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend this inn! First off, our room was incredibly clean and tidy, which made for a really comfortable stay. Cleanliness really makes a difference when you're trying to unwind from travel, and they nailed it. « Incredible experience at Suzukiya Ryokan! Staff is incredible! They speak some English and you can communicate perfectly fine with all of them. They are so incredibly kind and welcoming! « Great traditional Japanese Ryokan. They were comfortable with foreigners and did thier best to make us feel welcome. The Onsen was a wonderful and the dinner and breakfast provided were amazing. Probably some of the best Miso I have had. If you are not familiar with Onsen, I recommend watching a YouTube video or two to get an idea of what needs to be done. It is about a 15 minute Taxi ride to the Zao Fox Village, which is worth visiting as well. »
