« The location is beautiful and peaceful. The staff is also very nice. However, for the price, we found that the rooms need renovations, the private onsen was covered in moss, and the food was not very good. »

« Roomy, self-contained cabin in the hills above Kurakawa Onsen with private spring-fed bath. Great base for exploring the Aso-Kuju region. »

« Our stay was an absolute pleasure, a truly authentic Japanese countryside retreat. Nestled on the outskirts of a small village in Kyushu’s breathtaking rural landscape, the property offers a peaceful and experience. Our traditional Japanese-style room overlooked a beautiful garden, with a stream flowing just beyond it. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and went above and beyond throughout our stay to ensure we were comfortable and relaxed. We chose to have both breakfast...

« Nice and quiet place to stay. Beautiful breakfast every morning. However, share bath is a bit inconvenient. »
