Small rooms, narrow.beds, narrow sink. Not.keen on.

The apartment was OK, a bit grubby/tired in the public areas especially carpets. Once inside although a relatively modern design the whole interior and furnishings could only be described as basic. One very small damaged leather couch, one small dining table and two basic chairs in a large lounge diner complemented by a small 32” tv. Not conducive to spending more than five minutes sat in the room Two, plates, cups, bowls, knives, forks etc meant only minimal food prep and serve could be carried out. Yet another issue that drove us to eat out. A good bed and a big fridge were the plus points but, not much else. No mention of the lack of parking pre check in, NCP having gone bust and the multi-storey advised by locals as being unsafe meant on street parking in a not great area. 24 hours in Belgrade Plaza was enough for us and we baled out to enjoy the rest of our 5 day break elsewhere. A few hundred pounds spent on the interior may have meant the difference between us leaving and staying.

The bedroom was comfortable and clean. We stayed two nights and used the pool both days. The poolside was a bit uneven and the floor felt like the stone was brittle. We had a meal in the restaurant on the first night which was very good, the bar meal on the second night was ok but there weren't a lot of tables or seats to eat at. We had breakfast included so too advantage but it was probably the worst breakfast I have had in a hotel. Over cooked and dry hash brown (only one) the same for the half slice of black pudding, my wife's omelette was not properly mixed and all the filling was at one side and the scrambled egg was swimming in water, baked beans had the distinct skin of being kept warm. Staff were very helpful and polite.
