Property is perfect! Location is great! The house is well stocked from the kitchen to beach supplies to towels and blankets for the couch. The owners provide very helpful information about the surrounding area. Our family had a great time and would absolutely go back!

Wrightsville Beach family wedding

We got harassed by the neighborhood and Bryant real estate for a family barbecue of 15 people early Friday evening. Very Disturbing and unenjoyable and placed a cloud over our stay. I would not recommend this house due to the unreasonable overreaction by the owner and Bryant real estate. It’s a very noisy street and we got called on being noisy before 8 PM. I would not recommend this listing in the future.

Perfect spot

We loved everything about our stay at the Sand Crab Cottage. It's in the perfect spot (just a block off the beach), has everything you would need, and is so charming. The beds are SO comfortable - they all have feather beds on top! When I got home I bought 2 featherbeds for our beds so that I could continue sleeping in that kind of comfort. :) We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Sand Crab Cottage is delightful!

The cottage is whimsically decorated and full of charm . The home has plenty of furniture for lounging and dinning. Our group enjoyed using the great appliances and relaxing on the front porch. Fabulous location : steps to the beach, blocks from restaurants and a few shops. I would especially reccomend Sand Crab Cottage for family gatherings.

There is nothing negative with the stay in The Sand Crab Cottage. Short walk to beach. Our youngest daughter was born blind he enjoyed the beach and collected seashells with older brother and sister. We ate dinner together. Thank You For The Great Experience with the Sand Crab Cottage. We really enjoyed it.

I messaged earlier in the week and asked if there were any beach chairs and was told no. So i brought five of my own only to find 6 for our use in the garage. Also it states in the description that you need to bring your own beach towels which we did only To find a ton at the house for our use. :(

Beautiful Cottage!!

We loved this home!! We stayed at the cottage for 2 weeks and didn’t want to leave. A beautiful welcome basket was waiting for us when we arrived. Everything you could ever need was provided. The cottage was one block away from Wrightsville beach which we enjoyed. The furniture and beds were comfortable. The house was very clean and comfortable. The upstairs pirate room was adorable. We have stayed at a number of homes in the area and this one is our new favorite. We will definitely book this beautiful home again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great location, cute cottage

We had a great time at the Sand Crab Cottage. The kids loved sleeping in the room decorated with a nautical theme and discovering toys in the treasure chest. We enjoyed people watching from the front porch. The cottage was very clean and nice bath and beach towels were provided. The beds were very comfortable and everyone slept well. The couch was also comfortable and the kids enjoyed the selection of movies to choose from when taking a break from the sand and sun. The garage was fully stocked with beach chairs, sand toys, bikes, beach cart and other useful items. Location was great. One block walk to beach and about a 10-minute walk to the ice cream shop.

Can we give it 20 stars?!

Wonderful, comfortable, welcoming home! We were desperately in need of a vacation and have an older dog with health issues. It was such a relief to bring him with us. The house has everything you need and the hosts have made it so warm and welcoming- dogs included. The location is central to everything in Wrightsville Beach. We walked to restaurants, ice cream and Roberts Grocery (get the chicken salad) and used their bikes to bike to the northern end of the island to watch the sunset over the marsh - so beautiful!! Easy access to the beach and sound. We walked "The Loop" each morning with the younger dog we brought and spent our days on the beach. Wilmington is 15 minutes away and we shopped and ate at The Pilot House restaurant on the river one evening. I can't say enough positive things about the house, location and the hosts. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Paradise for all — including the dogs

Love, love, love this place. It surpassed any expectations. So beautifully decorated and very welcoming, the owners have paid attention to every detail and then some. It has everything one could need. Most surprisingly was the special attention to dogs — food and water bowl, bowl of pet toys and dog beds. Really all one needs for this stay are clothes and a toothbrush. Can't wait to return and hopefully for a longer stay.

Loved this place!

This place was in a great location and had a very homey, cozy feel about it. We enjoyed looking at all the decor. Very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and then some. An abundance of supplies from soap, shampoo, toilet paper, kleenex, coffee, towels and even soft fleece blankets. It was conveniently located to the beach access and the Johnnie Mercer Pier.

Great for our dog!

Perfect set up for travel with our pup. We both thought that the property was well equipped but felt really cluttered. No place to set anything without moving a chachke. We checked in after dark and the property was not easy to identify. The exterior lighting was poor. I am not generally event sensitive but They use multiple scented products to launder the sheets and the result is unpleasantly overwhelming.

Bad Neighbor

The Sand Crab Cottage, location, and amenities were 5-star. We had an issue with the neighbor trespassing on someone in the outdoor shower because of a speaker at 6:30pm on a Friday. The neighbor threatened to call the cops and indicated he was tired of living next to a rental. As a renter of the cottage I have no control over this and quite frankly it ruined the whole aura of our visit. We felt uncomfortable after the neighbor trespassed and couldn't shake the feeling of being constantly watched by him and his wife. He went out of his way to watch for us to arrive after dinner Friday evening and rushed out to talk to us upon our return. As I said the cottage was lovely - the neighbor ruined our experience and some action should be taken to remedy his attitude towards renters at this property.

Seaside Sanctuary

A cozy, welcoming space that feels like staying in a friend's home. Great spaces for gathering on the porch, around the table or on the big comfy couch. All the little extras and details make you feel blessed with abundance. And the porch and the yard are fenced so the dogs could enjoy time off leashes as well!

The best

Best equipped rental I have ever stayed in and I have been in summer rentals for over 70 years. What a pleasure to not have to bring half your house to the beach. Property was also very clean and well maintained.

Lovely home only a short walk to the beach

We felt very comfortable in this well appointed home with all the comforts of our own home. We appreciated the dog and child friendly porch and extras, such as gates and beach chairs and wagon. Comfy beds and furniture, very well maintained. I highly recommend it.

It was a clean, amazing stocked, pet-friendly home. We were grateful for all of the extras and how the host went above and beyond. The water filtration system was a great surprise that minimized use of water bottles. The kids room was adorable and cozy. You can’t beat the location. We wished checkin was 3pm versus 4pm and checkout was 11am versus 10am, but it was a great trip and a great home. Our dog thanks you, too. She was thrilled to come to the beach. :)
