Palm House | Pool, Hot Tub | South Downs

Palm House is a private group retreat in Findon, on the edge of the South Downs, designed for family getaways, girls’ weekends, birthday stays, relaxed escapes with friends and small corporate or wellness retreats.

Sleeping up to 10 guests, the house combines spacious indoor-outdoor living with a private garden, outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ, private bar and generous social spaces designed for slow mornings, shared meals and evenings together.

Located near Worthing, Palm House offers the atmosphere of a countryside escape while being well placed for exploring the South Downs, spending the day on the coast, visiting Brighton or discovering the surrounding villages, restaurants and country pubs.

The space
Palm House has been designed around relaxed, sociable indoor-outdoor living, with spacious communal areas where families, friends and teams can spend time together throughout their stay.

The open-plan kitchen and dining areas connect directly with the garden, while the private bar and table football create another relaxed space for drinks, conversation and evenings together.

For corporate and retreat groups, the generous communal areas also make Palm House well suited to small team retreats, planning sessions, wellness stays and informal off-site getaways.

Pool & hot tub
The private outdoor swimming pool sits at the heart of the garden, surrounded by outdoor seating and lounge areas.
The pool is open year-round.

From 1 October to 30 April, the pool is not heated as standard. Optional pool heating may be available on request for an additional charge, subject to weather, operating conditions and advance notice.
Guests also have access to a private hot tub, providing a year-round outdoor space to relax.

Outdoor living
The private garden is designed for relaxed outdoor living, with lounge and seating areas, a BBQ, swimming pool and hot tub.
Whether it is breakfast outside, a long lunch around the BBQ or drinks in the garden, the outdoor spaces are designed for groups to spend time together throughout their stay.

Celebrations, group stays & retreats
Palm House welcomes birthday stays, family celebrations, girls’ weekends, special occasions, wellness stays and small corporate retreats for the guests included in the reservation.
The house is designed for groups who want to spend quality time together, whether that means shared meals, a relaxing weekend away, a special celebration or an informal team retreat.
Palm House is not an event venue. Parties and events are not permitted, and the maximum occupancy is 10 guests unless otherwise agreed with us in advance.
Guests are expected to enjoy the property responsibly and remain considerate of the surrounding residential neighbourhood throughout their stay.
Optional experiences & services
To make your stay even more memorable, we can help arrange a range of optional services and experiences, subject to availability and additional charges.

These may include in-house massage, yoga or Pilates sessions, private chef experiences, bartending services, airport or station transfers, and selected celebration or group experiences.

Guest access
Guests have private access to the entire property, including the outdoor swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ, private garden, outdoor seating areas, kitchen, private bar and indoor living spaces.

Free parking is available on the driveway for up to 2 vehicles, with additional off-site parking available for 1 further car.
Full arrival and access instructions are provided before check-in.

Interaction with guests
Palm House is privately managed by Aurea Escapes, and our Guest Experience Team is available throughout your stay should you need any assistance.
We respect our guests’ privacy and will leave you to enjoy the property, but support is only a message or phone call away if required.

Other details to note
Palm House is located in a peaceful residential area, and we ask guests to respect our neighbours throughout their stay, particularly when using the garden, swimming pool and hot tub.

Outdoor music is not permitted in the garden at any time. Guests are welcome to enjoy music indoors at a considerate volume.

Parties and events are not permitted. Maximum occupancy is 10 guests, and the property may only be used by guests included in the reservation unless otherwise agreed with us in advance.

Children must be supervised at all times around the swimming pool and hot tub.

For the safety and security of the property, exterior security cameras monitor the front entrance, driveway and rear garden, including the pool, hot tub, BBQ area and side access. There are no cameras inside the property.

An outdoor noise-monitoring device is installed in the garden. It measures decibel levels only and does not record conversations or audio.

A high chair can be provided free of charge on request.
Guests have private access to the entire property, including the heated outdoor pool, garden, outdoor seating areas, kitchen, and all indoor living spaces.

Free parking is available on-site for up to 2 vehicles, with additional off-site parking available for 1 further car.

Palm House is located in a peaceful residential area, and we kindly ask guests to respect neighbours, particularly during the evening.

The heated outdoor pool is available throughout the stay, however children must always be supervised around the water.

Exterior security cameras monitor outdoor entrance areas only for security purposes. There are no cameras inside the property or in private guest spaces.
