« Lucini cottage is one of a small group of cottages set in secluded street just off the main road in Hepburn. All I can say, is WOW, what a gorgeous and welcoming place. We arrived on a very cold night and after a long drive we appreciated that the lights and gas log fire place were on to greet us. Beautifully decorated and very cozy and only few minutes drive to Daylesford town centre. »

« We were initially disappointed with the lack of air conditioning although listed for the property, however following a phone conversation where our concerns were put at ease, and the property was lovely and cool as stated made it very comfortable. All-in-all, a very satisfactory stay »

« The Shack is a lovely, comfortable place to stay in a beautiful setting. The attention to detail means is excellent and meant we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend visit. Alison was a great host too, we hope to visit again sometime! »

« The double spa bath is very welcome and decadent. The exterior is fun and has a luxurious cottage feel. Outside of that the cottage felt underwhelming, tired and in need of some repair. The bathroom needs regrouting, the vanity light wasn't working, the bed felt small, the main TV kept restarting and the light in the kitchen had a cardboard-box shade. All the appliances felt tired and in need of replacement. For the amount paid, it felt more like a 3 star than a 4 or 5 star stay. »

« This cottage ticked all the boxes for us -comfortable, well-furnished, and cute as a button. The bedroom has good bedside lamps for reading and we slept well. The kitchen and living space are well designed and attractively styled. The air-con cools the house nicely, and the fireplace looks very inviting for the winter months. But lovely as the interior is, our favourite spot was the front porch with its sunny aspect and restful view of trees. Hard to say who liked it more - us or our kelpie....

« Novella and Bob were wonderful hosts and very thoughtful which helped us settle us very quickly. As this was winter time we appreciated the fire already alight and even the electric blanket was on. Little extras in the fridge for us to enjoy we appreciated. Bed we found very comfortable. We will not hesitate to tell others of this special place and we will go again. »

« Overall the house was beautiful, our host Jane was there to greet us & pass on info we needed to know, everything we needed was provided & more, the pantry was stocked with more than we expected. Gas fire was amazing, so was the decor, comfortable living for our girls weekend away of 4 Netflix was a bonus, & location was also good. would highly recommend. « So beautiful, the interior decorating so sympathetic with the house. The log fire, the view through the french doors over the elevated deck and the sense of space on top of the hill. We enjoyed the DVD player, the beautiful linen, electric blanket and all the little things like tea, milk and coffee. Thank you so much, we will be back. »
