Nestled in South Gippsland between the stunning coastlines of Inverloch, Cape Patterson and Kilcunda, and only a short drive to Phillip Island, Wonthaggi is the perfect place to base yourself for day trips and many adventures.

This three bedroom original gem is located just 1km from the centre of Wonthaggi, a town built on the industry of 'black gold' - coal.

Marjalis Cottage has been freshly painted throughout and with lofty high ceilings and brand new flooring throughout, making the interior light, fresh and bright. 

All three bedrooms are dressed with quality hand -picked linen (not your standard white rented linen you often find) and luxurious soft furnishings. There are two queen bedrooms which have brand new pillow top mattresses & the 3rd bedroom comprises of 2 single beds. There is also a single mattress, which can be added to either queen bedrooms for extra little guests if required.

The large well equipped kitchen features a full size fridge/freezer, oven with cooktop, kettle, toaster, microwave, pod coffee machine, and all the crockery and utensils that you would expect to find at home.

Having a big delicious meal is easily done with the dining room comfortably able to seat 8 people, or you could enjoy your morning coffee and breakfast out on the private deck which has an outdoor seating area.

The bathroom is fit for the whole family, and is clean and spacious. There are full laundry facilities available if required. Linen and towels are all provided at Marjalis Cottage and we also supply hand wash, shampoo, conditioner and many other essentials for your comfort during your stay.

The living room features 2 beautiful and luxurious leather couches. There are also numerous occasional chairs and floor cushions allowing everyone to come together.

The home features split system heating and cooling in the main living areas, and panel heaters in all 3 bedrooms which are lovely during colder winter stays.

There are also multiple areas to set up your mobile office if you are looking for somewhere beautiful to work from "home".

With plenty of off street parking, a large carport and shed space available for your bikes or paddle boards, this property will be entirely yours for the duration of your stay.

We have recently created a fire pit area in the backyard for you to enjoy, please obtain your own wood and keep the area tidy so the next guests are also able to enjoy.
