« Gorgeous property, staff were so lovely, lots of parking! Room and decor was lovely and we felt so at home. It’s a shame we didn’t spend more time on site. Breakfast was great, and the cafe was insane! Probably one of the best cafes in the county, if not country. We will definitely return. The choice to purchase local produce from the pantry was a nice touch too. We visited the area for business, but hope to come back in our spare time and stay again! »

« A comfortable and nicely appointed hotel in the centre of the town. Many hotels allow early check-in if rooms are available, but NOT the Hampton by Hilton. You pay £10 per hour extra. A very disappointing practice. Low-cost airlines charge for every little extra; it seems that there are low-cost hotels! »

« We chose this hotel because of its countryside location and were looking forward to a quiet break outside of Durham City Centre for a weekend trip. Unfortunately, a large event took place during our stay and we were not informed in advance, despite being told that guests are usually notified when such events are taking place when I raised the issue. « Pleasant stay at the Seaton Lane Inn with a little hiccup of no towels in the room on arrival but was remedied straightaway. Check in was quick and easy although steep stairs to the upper level of the Inn rooms. May be a little difficult for older people to negotiate these. Had food in the restraunt one night and enjoyed the steak which was cooked as asked and the service was also good from the waiter.
