« I would stay here again. It was clean, breakfast was standard motel type, and on the edge of town away from everything if you like that. »

« Room was large and well cleaned, it came with a sticked kitchenette. The hotel has a nice restaurant in site with outdoor seating overlooking the French Broad River. The hotel was like a museum for the original jail with information on display. The room we stayed in had several original features of the old jail. »

« This might be my new favorite place to stay!! It has been beautifully restored, employs friendly and helpful staff and provides the thickest bath towels ever!!! I appreciated the extra touches such as soft pillows in addition to the firm ones on the bed, a noise machine by the bed and a fridge, iron and ironing board in my room!! The bathing products in the shower were excellent and the complimentary breakfast buffet offered hearty, healthy and grab and go options. I look forward to staying...
