« The standard of accommodation was excellent and everything was done so tastefully. The property and room was a dream and only wish we had longer than 2 nights. The food was superb and being located on a wine estate with beautiful walks and nature was an amazing experience. We will definitely return and a massive thank you to the staff and manageress for making our stay so incredible. Everything was just perfect. »

« We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back! »

« Lovely views and location. Super nice staff. But the pool area was awful. The pool had brown water in it and construction workers lying around. No sun beds etc. Also the rooms were not sound proof so I slept bad since the ppl on the room next doors was coming home late and was talking and making a lot of noises and also got up very early and started to make noises. »

« Very beautiful place with very welcoming owners. This break at the end of the working day was very relaxing. For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. I will then also be able to dine at the restaurant, which I have heard so much about. »
