« Very beautiful place with very welcoming owners. This break at the end of the working day was very relaxing. For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. I will then also be able to dine at the restaurant, which I have heard so much about. »

« We stayed here 30 years ago and it was great to be back in beautiful Paarl. New owners are very friendly and so helpful... their little doggie snowy so sweet. Its a listed building and having breakfast in the old part of the house is so cool. That is a true South African breakfast. Delicious. Never tasted a eggs bennie that good. »

« Very welcoming. Rustic, charming with lovely friendly host and professional staff. The honeymoon lavender suite was peaceful and tranquil. Great view's with nice pool area. Nice breakfast and good banter with the staff. We would visit again! »

« Een prachtige villa in de middle of nowhere. Just what we needed! Wild Olive House is self-service, maar perfect als je met een kleine op vakantie bent. Contact met Vicky van de Farmhouse Guest rooms ging prima. Soms een tikkie stug, maar als je wat langer praat ook gewoon heel vriendelijk. We hebben een Game Drive met Esmeralda gedaan en dat was fantastisch. Heel vriendelijk en een prachtige drive, veel informatie en ondanks dat ze niet de Big Five hebben, voelde het soms zelfs meer bijzonder...

« The standard of accommodation was excellent and everything was done so tastefully. The property and room was a dream and only wish we had longer than 2 nights. The food was superb and being located on a wine estate with beautiful walks and nature was an amazing experience. We will definitely return and a massive thank you to the staff and manageress for making our stay so incredible. Everything was just perfect. »

« This facility was as advertised. It is a large multifaceted estate with good wines which you can taste as part of your reservation. Our room has a wonderful view of the gardens and the hills beyond. »

« Beautiful place to stay very relaxing. It was ideal for where we had to travel to for a wedding. »

« We looooooved our stay at the Southern Belle, Bergsicht Cottage. By far the most private & secluded of all the cottages. We enjoyed the hot tub & the private deck, surrounded by only the sounds of nature. The fairy lights above the pool were very romantic. The cottage had everything we needed to relax & unwind. No TV which was fantastic - you come here to rest & unplug. We'll be back! »

« We had a most enjoyable stay at Wittedrift Manor House, it was as good as a previous stay a year ago. Delicious breakfasts by Carol and Dorothy and overall a guest house in Tulbach that is highly recommended in view of its wonderful atmosphere, great location, friendly service and special "arty" ambience!
