« The flat was very comfortable and within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars. The flat was quite hard to find and I was not given a complete address. The flat is located in Garden Square on Warwick Road, so that was a stressful start. Luckily, it was late afternoon so it was still light. I would not want to be in that position late at night on my own. « We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way! »

« Our stay in the apartment was nice. We had wanted an apartment at the half way point of our Europe trip so we could do laundry and perhaps cook a few meals in. The washing machine worked great and we just hung everything to dry. The kitchen was very clean and was stocked with the basics. It is nice to have olive oil and basic spices kept in the kitchen for guests to use, this would perhaps be my only suggestion. Otherwise, everything was very clean and as described. »

« We had a very quiet time at this pod. The facility was recently built, so it was modern, warm, and comfortable with a great view. It was great that they had a wide variety of coffee and tea, and that cooking utensils were well-equipped. I also felt that they were committed to sustainability, such as using Faith in Nature shampoo. Things to keep in mind are that it would be that there was no dishwasher or washing machine, so everything had to be washed by hand. »

« We stayed in the Lavendula suite in the basement area. It was small, but very well appointed. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had good pressure with plenty of hot water and the kitchen was great for cups of tea and toasted snacks. Would not try to cook anything complex there though another person might be a better cook than myself. I also appreciated the eco-consciousness of the proprietors . Oh! The garden is idyllic!! Wonderful place to take a cup of tea and a scone and watch...
