It's hard to believe, but our holiday homes are only 10 minutes away from the bustling Toowoomba CBD.
The Space:
Little Oakey by Tiny Away is located in Withcott, nestled at the foothills of the Toowoomba Range. This tiny home opens up to a flat expanse of grass, roughly the size of a small soccer field. A seasonal creek flows around the grassy area, filled with birdlife, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that enhances the natural tranquility of the location.
If you're traveling from Brisbane via Warrego Hwy/A2, it’s a quick drive of just 1 hour and 48 minutes, with Toowoomba City only 16 minutes away. Our holiday homes in Queensland are also close to Jubilee Park, Table Top Mountain, and Picnic Point Lookout.
A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a queen-sized bed, a well-equipped kitchenette, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home. Please avoid opening any gates and stay within the maintained (mowed) areas, creek flats, and along the creek.

Just 4 minutes down the road, you'll find a friendly local YMCA with convenient opening and closing times, open 7 days a week!

- The Carnival of Flowers in September attracts visitors from across the country, doubling the town's population as people come to see the stunning local flowers.
- World-class mountain bike tracks are accessible directly from the cabin, leading to Jubilee Park, the proposed location for the 2032 Olympic Games mountain bike events.
- A short drive away is the highly rated hike up "Table Top Mountain", where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Lockyer Valley after trekking through native forest to a grassy summit.

- Taxi is the only means of public transport until you reach Toowoomba where guests can access all modes of transport.

Pets Policy
- Pets should be kept on lead at all times
- Any damage done by pets shall be payable by the guests
- Please clean up after your dog/cat shedding before checking out
- Pets are not allowed on beds and sofas and clean after your pet’s droppings
- Always remember not to leave your pets unattended inside or outside the property
- We recommend that you bring your pet's bed, bowl, and basic needs with you during your stay
- Please take note to inform us 24 hrs before arrival, if you plan to bring your pets to our property
- Pets may roam freely if they are well-trained and stay close to the cabin. The area is partly fenced, providing a buffer from the road
Off-grid guidelines
- Save water and turn off the tap or shower when not in use
- Please conserve water as our supply is limited to tank water
- Guests are advised to bring portable power banks in case of low-power
- Guests are also advised to save energy to avoid running out of electricity
- Please charge your phone and electronics in advance in case of low-light days

- We would like to remind guests that our tiny house follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank.
Important note:
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present in the surrounding areas
- For stays of 5 nights or more (or for bookings of 5 nights or more), an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the cassette toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
