Nottingham Place is near popular hiking trails & attractions - a short drive to Devil's Bathtub, High Knob, Guest River Gorge, Little Stoney Falls, Natural Tunnel, lakes, Mountain Rose Vineyard. It is within walking distance of Main Street shops & restaurants and a 15 minute walk to UVa-Wise. Other notable excursions include The Breaks Interstate Park (The Grand Canyon of the South), The Sand Cave at Cumberland (with stunning vista view), the Virginia Creeper Trail, Barter Theatre (the State Theatre of Virginia) Bristol Raceway and Bristol Casino.

The sparkling clean detached Turret Full Bathroom around the Guest Foyer at the top of the Guest Staircase has cheery blue walls, pedestal sink, shower, tub, hair dryer, bath linens & toiletries.

The Guest Foyer has a hospitality table with a wide slot toaster, Keurig pods, brochures, maps, light snacks & mini fridge w sodas, creamers & juices. There is a storage bench which holds a variety of books and a round glass top table provides an additional area for hanging out, games or (gulp) remote work station!

The spacious front porch offers white columns and plenty of places to lounge while taking in mountain air and small town life - this antebellum porch is a guest favorite, as many remark, it's "straight out of Southern Living Magazine"!!
