Great location, lousy unit

Unit needs updating and cleaning. Couch not comfortable for sleeping, which previous review commented on and owner claimed to address. Not true. Also advertises as one bedroom and is cramped studio. Look for a unit with a Murphy bed. This one is not the best option.

Ski in ski out!

Off of the Gondola, stay to the left and take Blue Mary Jane down to Green Corridor to reach building. Access from the building to Corridor slope is on the 5th floor.

Winter Park - Iron Horse Resort

I enjoyed my stay at Iron Horse. The unit was very comfortable and everything worked. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked and the fireplace created a cozy environment. Underground parking was a pleasure. Having a pool, hot tub and fire pit all in one outdoor area was amazing and one of the best I’ve seen! I spent some time in the Village every night - lots of shopping and dining options to enjoy. There were a few issues that I encountered: On my first day there were issues with the codes to enter the parking garage and common areas (ski locker, fitness room, pool) - all but one were resolved by the end of the day. The elevator in my building was out of service for the entire week I was there (and no updates provided). This caused a lot of stair-climbing every day (especially my arrival & departure days) since my unit was on the 3rd floor. Due to the lack of snow, the “Corridor” trail was not open. As a result, it was a 10-minute hike to the lifts.

Cozy condo for small family

Convenient condo with slope access and ski storage and good amenities. Our family of 3 took the Amtrak train from Denver and had a great ski week. Used the Lift shuttles to get around, which come right up to condo main entrance. King bed mattress was great quality (not springy and no dips). Fireplace heater was super cozy and worked well. Would definitely stay here again.

Tidy but not clean; confusing but not a deal breaker

Great location for Ski in, ski out. A few things to note here however: 1: garage code was not accurately provided. This led to a frustrating arrival and extended wait time to even enter the property garage as there is no active management during evening or late night hours. 2: Accessing the garage apparently does not guarantee a parking spot within the garage. Many times during the stay, I needed to drive to other places and every day except one, I had to find alternate parking due to the garage being full. 3: Toenail clippings were in my bed when I slept in it the first night. I have pictures if needed. I immediately changed the sheets with the only other set that was available in the room and took my chances with them, even though they were full size bed sheets for what was a king size bed mattress. 4. Door codes and access was very confusing for the first days. Eventually, I memorized the 12 digit code.

Great location

Great location with wonderful pool and hot tub and ski in/ski out access. Studio condo is what we expected with comfortable king bed. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was not usable for our kids due to the age of the mattress so we had to request an inflatable bed which was provided immediately. Great service from the maintenance team.

The door to the condo needs help. It took many attempts to open the door as the handle needs some attention. The code is easy and not the concern but the handle was a challenge. The condo is very comfortable, the bed being the most comfortable. The cleaning is too notch however the age of the condo is shining through unfortunately. That said you can’t beat the location as it’s ski in and ski out and just a 8 min walk to the village.

Cozy with the Mountain Cabin Feel

Very cozy condo. It was a little farther than town than we'd like to be but we were able to get around thanks to the buses! It would have been nice if there was more information in the condo about the bus schedule and pickup/drop off locations. But overall we were very happy with it.
