« My family group of five adults enjoyed our two nights here. The view and access to the Current was amazing. There are trees and vegetation between the house and river that allow for so many wonderful opportunities for bird watching right from the back screened in porch. We saw a bald eagle both mornings hunting just across the river. Other birds we saw were blue heron, green heron, cedar waxwings, hummingbirds, tons of warblers, red winged blackbirds, pileated woodpeckers, and a whippoorwill at...

« I love staying here. It is so clean and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and having my coffee on the front porch soaking in the beautiful natural world. It far enough away from town to enjoy the quiet but close enough to grab delicious food for meals. I’ll always stay here when visiting Eminence. »

« Cabin appeared to be an older updated River Cabin, but had newer Appliances, furniture, fixtures and paint. The moth ball smell was 'overwhelming' until we aired it out. It overlooks the river, with a beautiful view. Unless you plan a little hike, you'll want to drive down to the river and fire pit. Might be a little challenging for a small vehicle. Our stay was to kayak, parked a truck at the cabin landing and had no problems. Would deffinatley recommend, plenty of room and totally enjoyed or...

« We enjoyed our stay immensely!! Geeat accommodations and everything you would need was there! Close to many different places to explore! Beautifully decorated inside and great supply of hot water! The only suggestion is to give suggestions for storm shelter in the area! Overall great place to stay and very accomodating! Highly suggest renting this place! »

« House was immaculately clean, in extremely pleasant surroundings. The deck was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings very much, overall a nice stay but there were some challenges. On the downside: We had some difficulty on the steep gravel driveway with our one non 4 wheel drive vehicle. The mattresses on the main level were extremely firm and uncomfortable. I was traveling with 2 disabled elderly folks, which I had discussed with the host; the queen sized bed sat up way too high...

« Everything was very nice. Ample cleaning products for our needs. Comfy and cozy for all of us. Nice big back yard. Quiet little neighborhood. Enjoyed all the surrounding areas we visited. Just a lovely area to visit. »

« All of the beds had clumps of dirt, sand, and what looked like dog hair in the sheets. The dishes were filthy and thrown in the cabinet. The trash cans had garbage in them. We ran out of dish soap. There were no extra trash bags in the premises. Directions to the property could have been more clear. For the price we paid for two nights and the condition of the home when we arrived, we were very disappointed. »

« Location, location, location! It’s all about the view off the back deck. Located in a quiet residential area beside Current River within a mile of Van Buren. Spacious kitchen area for preparing and cooking meals. Covered patio table on deck was incredible for enjoying family dinners. The kids brought our own tubes and floated right up to the house after their float trip. Wrap around huge sofa for enjoying a movie in evening, or a tv in every bedroom if you prefer. »

« The house is nice and cozy and clean. The furniture is very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensil and pans. LOTS of towels and toilet paper! The owners are very nice and accommodating. Ice and firewood are available for inexpensive cash purchase on property. Very easy access to the lake and marina. The only challenge was the WiFi. It worked ok for some streaming services, but less so for anything else. We had a lot of fun. Hope to see you again soon! »

« The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We needed a place to crash the weekend of the Solar Eclipse - and wanted to stay away from hotels and bigger cities. It worked perfectly for what we needed. »
