« The good: We had a great time staying here. The first and second floor are beautiful and very well maintained. Both bathrooms and three bedrooms are very clean and have more than enough bath and beach towels. The fire pit and kayaks are also a great touch. The water is just steps away and the view is excellent. Just be sure to bring your own propane and firewood. What could be better? Communication with the host left a lot to be desired. « We had such a great time! The views are stunning and the house has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The host Kerry was so helpful; we had a small issue with the shower and she had a plumber over within the hour to resolve it. Can’t wait to come back next summer! »

« This is our second year staying with at Karen and Larry’s property and it did not disappoint. They are incredible hosts and their home is conveniently located near the Lime Rock Track (less than 3 miles). It’s a beautiful and peaceful setting and extremely comfortable home. We highly recommend. »

« We loved staying here because it was spacious and clean. We choose this house because it was within an hour of Legoland. I loved how each room had queen beds because that made it easier on who got what room. The house was beautifully renovated and they left a lot of the original character and mixed modern touches in perfectly. We will definitely stay here again. »

« My spouse and I really enjoyed our stay. It was spacious, private and the huge windows were incredible. I would not suggest checking in at night. The driveway going up to the house is very dark and uneven terrain, and no lights were on, in or around the house. But once we knew what the road was like, we were a lot more comfortable driving it at night. The house is very very private, which is great. You don't see anyone from the property, and being outside and listening to the trees rustling...

« Great property, very clean and host was quick to reply. We were impressed with the amenities available (most places don’t have detergent, etc) and the view was amazing! We didn’t have time to go to the dock but it looked very nice! Wish we had time to stay longer. We will definitely try to stay there again for our next family event »

« The neighborhood was clean, upscale, and beautifully kept. It came with Candlewood Beach access. The second story suite was gorgeous, clean, and well apportioned. The bed was comfortable. The whole house was well maintained and a wonderful,"homey" feel to it. The Hostess was friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. The house is on the hillside leading to Lake Candlewood. As can be imagined, the views from the windows were outstanding. »
