Wimberley Country Home- Secluded Privacy Near the Square!!

The stars at night are big and bright at Texas Star. This two-bedroom Texas Hill Country home is the perfect getaway for families and couples. A roomy hot tub offers comfort and relaxation. Inside, you will find two large, comfortable bedrooms with King and Queen size beds, and full bathroom. Soak up the peace and tranquility of the Texas Hill Country with this charming home.

Texas Star offers two comfortable bedrooms. One room hosts a king-size bed with lovely linens, a large television, and private access to the outdoor patio. The second bedroom offers a queen-size bed, lovely views as well as private access to the patio area, convenient to access the hot tub. A roomy bathroom with custom tile work and a walkin-shower offers plenty of room to tidy up for a night on the town.

A kitchen and living space is a celebration of rustic charm. Newly renovated kitchen with a large granite island, overlooks the living room and offers all that is needed to prepare your favorite meals. A farmhouse sink makes for an easy clean up and plenty of seating space at the kitchen island. Kitchen, bedrooms, & bathroom are fully equipped.

Texas Star is conveniently located only minutes from Wimberley Square. Spend the day browsing the darling shops, dining in the delicious restaurants, and touring local wineries and breweries. TEXAS STAR HAS A STRICT “NO PET” POLICY; many of our guests choose this property because they have allergies and appreciate that our home is free of dog hair and dander. Only federally certified service dogs are permitted.

* The road is very rough, please drive slowly and be careful over the rocks and valleys. Drive carefully: keeping it “low in the middle!

Peaceful and relaxing but really close to Wimberley center, grocery stores etc making it very convenient. Especially loved the outdoor space - the bbq, hammock, firepit, hot tub - gorgeous!!

Very nice, quiet, and relaxing 4 night stay. Convenient to the square area in Wimberley. The interior was clean and very nice. Grilled some steaks one night on the back deck and found the grill to be very nice, in good condition and working perfectly. Did not use the hot tub but it appeared to be nice and in good working order. Nice, open living area and kitchen was nice. No hangers to use in the closets so bring your own. There were also no drawers in the master bedroom to unpack clothing into.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for Valentine's weekend. It was perfect. We enjoyed the huge deck where we grilled oir dinner, the full kitchen had everything we needed to make our sides. The hot tub was great, although the inside was a little rough like sandpaper, but it wasn't bad enough to take a way a star. We loved sitting on the big covered porch in the front and watching the rain. The house was clean, cozy, and quaint, and very charmingly decorated. I would say the mattress topper was much too swuishy and we kind of sank into it like quicksand haha. We removed it the second night and slept much better. Overall very happy with our stay and definitely would stay here again.

The home is in an amazing location. I woke up one morning and there were four bucks and a little spike walking through the front yard. 1.3 miles from H-E-B and the downtown area. The property is on a large lot, although there is a neighbor next door that is separated by a fence. We never heard or saw them. The backyard is large and had a nice deck with patio furniture, a gas grill and a hot tub. The home was extremely clean! We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The only cons: my wife had an interview the morning after we arrived. The hairdryer only blew cold air as the switch was broken and I had to go to HEB and buy a new one for 30. The furniture has been heavily used (sofa) and not comfortable unless you put a pillow behind you for support and the hot tub felt rough on the bottom (aged) with worn out buttons that we had to ask for help in how to increase the heat. The master bed had a very thick foam mattress that made it very hot and felt like you sunk into a hole and couldn’t get out. We remedied this by removing the mattress topper, which helped. I would have rated this place 5 stars if those things had not been an issue.I have to say that the owner was super kind and allowed us to extend our stay and even gave us adiscount for rebooking with her.

House was clean and check in was easy with door code. The road is a gravel/dirt road, but go slow and it is okay. Hammock in the backyard and hot tub. Kitchen has all the essentials for cooking.

It was a nice home out in the country, away from the bustle of town. We enjoyed the home. The downsides were that the hosts were not very responsive on the app or even their phone. The hot tub is very old. Its rough and you can't tell how to use it as the labels are so worn and led panel didnt light up. I've owned a hot tub and couldnt figure it out. They did eventually get back to me and got the hot tub working. The HVAC is also quite loud. Overall we had a nice time at this location.

Was a perfect spot for our first anniversary. Super close to the square. Very quiet. The road was not that bad coming in. Many reviews make it seem like it’s very rough but it’s just a normal gravel road. The house was nice and clean, the hot tub was great. I would come here again

Very cute property

We enjoyed our stay. I had to ding the host on communication since we called and messaged through the app shortly after check in with a minor problem and didn't hear back from her until we had checked out. I assumed, and she confirmed, that life had gotten in the way, but I do feel I have to be honest about the lack of response. This was likely a one time problem, so don't let that stop you from booking this cute house. Drive carefully on the dirt road to the property - so many deer!
