Some lake houses make you feel like you're roughing it in comfort. This isn't one of them. Tranquil Waters is a designer-furnished retreat overlooking Wilson Lake — contemporary finishes, premium bedding, a private hot tub with open water views, and a wraparound deck built for long evenings and slow mornings. Bring the dog. Walk to town for coffee at Chaos Coffee Co, dinner at Calzolaio, and come back to a fire pit under the stars.
Three bedrooms. Two and a half baths. Sleeps 10. Four seasons. One perfect lake house.
The Home
The main level opens to vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows framing Wilson Lake. The living room is warm and spacious, built for the kind of evenings where nobody wants to go to bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with premium appliances, a pot filler, and a coffee station, ready for slow breakfasts before a day on the water or a quick turnaround before hitting the slopes.
Step outside to the wraparound deck: open water views, outdoor dining, a gas fire pit, and the private hot tub below. In the evening, gather around the lower wood-burning fire pit with nothing but lake sounds and a clear Maine sky overhead.
Sleeping Arrangements
The primary suite is on the main level — king bed, private ensuite bathroom, Smart TV, and direct access to the deck.
The lower level has two additional bedrooms. A queen room with two queen beds, ideal for families or two couples traveling together. And a bunk room perfect for kids and teens, or any group that just needs a comfortable place to recharge after a full day outside.
Summer
Wilson Lake is right outside. Kayaks and standup paddleboards are provided and public lake access is mere steps down the road. Spend the day swimming, paddling, or fishing, then watch the evening light come off the water from the deck. Bass Park is a short walk away with a playground for the kids. Wilson Lake Country Club is nearby for a round of golf.
Winter
Titcomb Mountain is 15 minutes away. Sugarloaf, Saddleback, and Sunday River are all within an hour. Snowmobiling and ice fishing round out the season. Come back to a hot tub, a wood fire, and a kitchen built for big group meals after a long day outside.
The Town
Wilton is walkable from the property — a genuine small Maine town with real character. Coffee at Chaos Coffee Co in the morning, dinner at Calzolaio in the evening, a local brewery, shops, and parks all within easy reach. It's a rare combination for a lake view property in Western Maine.
Bring the Dog
Tranquil Waters is fully pet friendly. Western Maine is dog country with open space, fresh air, trails nearby, and a yard your dog will love as much as you do.

What Our Guests Are Saying
"This is easily one of the best [vacation rentals] I've ever stayed at. The house is stunning — beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and filled with thoughtful details. We squeezed in a ski day at Titcomb Mountain and coming back to soak in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind. We're already looking forward to coming back."
— Kaitlynn, Los Angeles
"A very relaxing change of pace from our urban lifestyle without downgrading our comforts. The kitchen was state-of-the-art, the beds were comfortable on par with 5-star hotels. We enjoyed paddleboarding, kayaking and daily swims in the lake. We will book again whether for winter getaways or summer relaxations."
— Divya, Cambridge
"The perfect place for a group weekend. Relaxing, comfortable, the perfect amount of space. We loved cooking in the kitchen, walking to town, and especially the hot tub. We would recommend this house to anyone visiting Maine and would love to return for winter or summer."
— Elena, Connecticut
