Serenity Heights Place

Serenity Heights Place offers a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy nature in beautiful Willow Alaska. We offer a 750sf open concept apartment which is modern, airy, and extremely clean above our detached garage. It is secluded but close to the main Parks Highway. Walls of windows provide spectacular sunrise, sunset or star viewing. On a clear night, look for the Aurora Borealis, our famed Northern Lights. We have a large parking area for a boat or trailer and live in the main house year around.

We offer many of the amenities of home such as a full sized fully equipped kitchen, a workspace with WIFI and office chair, all linens for kitchen, bath, and bedroom, plenty of pillows and blankets, and some games and puzzles when you need to relax after a day of adventure. In addition, we provide dish soap, dishwasher tablets, liquid hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your stay. The bedroom offers a queen bed and walk in closet, and twin bunkbeds in the living area provide added sleeping space, all with new mattress. The main living area has plenty of seating with a dining table, bar, and a comfortable double recliner sofa for watching TV or gazing out the huge windows.

Serenity Heights Place offers a relaxing space to unwind and enjoy nature in beautiful Willow Alaska. We are located 1 mile off the Parks Highway at mile 73, 73 miles from Anchorage. Thirty-six miles to the north you’ll find downtown Talkeetna with its quaint gift shops, eateries, and outdoor activities including flight seeing/glacier landings, jetboat tours, Alaska Railroad train access, zip line, and fishing tours, not to mention spectacular views of Denali which is another 164 miles to the north. We are 2 miles from the famed Hatcher Pass Road, gateway to Hatcher’s Pass with its snow machine trails, skiing, hiking, berry picking, hang gliding, and the historic Independence mine. Willow is the heart of dog mushing and Serenity Heights was an active kennel until Nov. 2019. Two dog kennels are in our neighborhood, with the Re-Start of the Iditarod 5 miles from our home. Serenity Heights Place was lost in the 2015 Sockeye wildfire and rebuilt in that same year with all the modern amenities.

There is a long flight of stairs to access the apartment.

Other things to note
With dog kennels nearby, consider bringing ear plugs or white noise for sensitive sleepers. Convenience stores nearby but nearest grocery store 20 miles away.

Please Note: There is a security Camera in use at the front door area, including the guest parking area.
