Overall—mediocre service
I stayed at this hotel for four nights. First, I would like to say this hotel is beautiful. The facility is new and it shows. The room was clean, well air conditioned and comfortable. The pool deck and outdoor seating was Instagram worthy. However, if you are expecting to receive reasonable service while dining at the restaurant or ordering drinks on the poolside, be prepared to wait 45 mins or more for drinks and food. On one occasion, I ordered two beer and waited 45 minutes. No one comes around to check in if you need more drinks or need additional condiments. I would’ve gone to the bar for quicker service but that’s not an option here. No apologies or reasonable explanations offered when asked about the status of your order/food/drinks. In summary, expect slow service.
Issues with Fire Alarms @ Art Hotel
Now, I stayed at this hotel for four nights but was only able to sleep for 2 nights. The hotel’s fire alarms went off at 2am, 5am, and 7am. The alarm was blaring and when the alarm went off, the lighting in our room turned on. We were unable to turn off lights underneath the bed which we were told were motion sensor. That was a lie. An even bigger lie was when I asked the hotel staff about the malfunctioning alarms. I was told that they were conducting a fire alarm audit, and they had no control over the timing of the alarms. When questioned further, the lie quickly changed to “the alarms are highly sensitive and go off when guests take hot shower
