« The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away. »

« This was just what we needed! Cute cottage in a perfect location. Nice dock. Easy paddle access to both Wentworth and Crescent lakes, and walking to town on the rail trail. »

« In addition to everything this property offers we found there was a nearby 12mile bike trail that goes through the woods passing lakes on the the route, and bikes were available at the property. »

« Amazing place to stay! We rented a room after a concert at the NH Bank Pavilion and it was just what we needed. Comfy beds, great accommodations. We wish we could have stayed longer! »

« We loved everything about our stay. We arrived early and it was no problem. We loved the cottage! It was quaint, clean, comfortable and very functional.We were able to prep and cook meals easily with the kitchenette and grills. We love the location and the easy access to all the sites! We highly recommend “The Cottages” Melissa and her team are doing a great job with the place!! »

« We thoroughly enjoyed this visit. Our cabin was small yet cozy! Place was clean, bed comfy, and AC worked terrific. Shower was exceptional too. Full service kitchen and outdoor grill and seating will make us come back. »

« We stay. In Alton Bay each year for a couple of concerts at Bank of NH Pavilion in Gilford. We extend it by staying for a couple of days at Lake Winnipesaukee The motel is perfectly located close to the venue and on the lake for swimming and boating while visiting BNH Pavilion. The motel is in a pine grove and is lake front. It's "!old school " feel reminds of my childhood. It's clean and quite, but no thrills. « Awesome place for a getaway. The cottage is fully stocked and has everything you could need. The hot tub is especially nice and is in tip top shape. Loved being in the hot tub and watching the stars. Enjoyed the fire pit! Barbequed on the grill and ate dinner on the porch .porch. Kitchen was easy to cook ineverything. »

« We had a good time in NH! The cottage was very clean, the living area is very spacious, and everything close to a nice lake! Here are few things that we liked a bit less : - The back of the couch was broken - Many dishes were dirty, and the kitchen lacked of few basic things (cutting board, water kettle, non stick pan for eggs, etc.) - Sleeps 5 but w chairs on the table inside »

« Cannot say enough positive things about our stay - we are so glad we found this listing.We came up for some hiking, fishing and just to take a much needed break with our kids. From our first inquiry, we were well looked after and had so much local help and knowledge planning our visit from the hosts. "we liked to be greated by a lovely girl speaking french fluently.The room is extremely comfortable and there is an excellent restaurant 2 minutes walk;The parking place is not right in front of the room,a little to walk. 10 minutes walk to the sea."
