What a lovely property - very pleased with our stay at Compass Point 10 - excellent communication from the booking, to the pick up from the airport, to the return back to the airport . It’s in a lovely location, excellent water views from the balcony, clean swimming pool, great facilities.

What an amazing place to stay, relaxing with a stunning view. This holiday home as everything you could wish for, it is a home from home. We had a really nice stay. Greeted at the airport & given our buggy & shown to our unit by friendly staff & again picked up all our luggage to get back to the airport at the end of our stay. The kids loved the buggy, it was super convenient for getting around the island. The accommodation was very spacious with a/c & fans in all of the rooms for comfort. The pool was a hi light for the kids. Our only negative was the cleanliness of the second bathroom (this was cleaned after we contacted Matt to let him know) & then when we emptied the bins they both had fowl smelling liquid under the bin liner (not from our rubbish) that was gross to clean out. Lounge cushions also weren’t the cleanest but everything else was clean & fresh.The pros well outweighed any cons & We’d definitely stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the island! The place had lots of room for our family to spread out. The view from the deck was beautiful! The kitchen was stocked with almost everything we needed. It would have been helpful to have oven mitts. The location was very central. We loved driving around in the golf cart. We would definitely come back again.

Seamless Stay

Perfect size and location for a family of 5. The home had everything we needed to make it a great holiday. Highlights included the central pool, the kitchen to cook some meals, board games to keep the kids busy, and of course the Buggy to get around the island. Do note, if you're a family of more then 4 you won't all fit in the buggy and one adult will need to walk up and down very steep hills - wasn't a concern for us, but worth knowing.

The Family Getaway to Paradise

Hamilton Island is one of the great places to holiday and it was made so much more enjoyable as a result of staying at Compass Point 10. Our hosts, their lovely dwelling and all the communication meant the planning and our expectations were spot on. The house was clean and ready for our arrival. The location and supplied buggy enabled easy trips all around the island and we were always back in time to watch the beautiful sunsets from the balcony. Thanks Matt and Susan.

Quiet with nice views

The weather was perfect during out stay and the view from the balcony was very restful. the pool was great for a 5 year old and no-one else was there most of the time. The unit could do with some updating. the oven and BBQ particularly and the mattress in the main bedroom.

We had a fantastic time. There’s lots to do for everyone. Having the buggy was an absolute must and also made it fun. We enjoyed afternoon beverages on the veranda overlooking the islands. Amazing view although can get hot in afternoon as west facing and no blind on right side to block sun. It was handy having 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms. They were all of a good size. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was good and had everything we needed. Overall we had a great time.

Wonderful Family Holiday!

Hamilton Island was the first stop on our family trip to Australia and Compass Point 10 set the standard very high. From being picked up at the airport to leaving via the ferry we felt like we had landed in paradise. The property was spotless and spacious with spectacular views. It has everything you could possibly need and is an amazing location. Recommendations for One Tree Hill sunset was much appreciated - it was stunning. We traveled as a family of 5 adults but didn’t find any issues with the 4 seater buggy - the island is such a beautiful place to travel around making 2 trips was never a problem. We had some lovely meals at Manta Ray and Coca Chu. Day trips out to the Whit Sundays and Reef World were well organised and lots of fun. We used both companies Explore and Cruise Whitsundays. A big thankyou to Matthew and his team for making everything so easy for us - can’t wait to return!!!
