Harbour House is a spacious five-bedroom property with two bathrooms and the valuable amenity of off-street private parking. Its prime location is directly opposite Whitstable's harbour and beach, and just moments from the road leading to the town centre.
You check in using a key box code. I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive!
Whitstable's charming town centre is just a few doors down the road, while the beach and historic working harbour are conveniently located directly opposite the property. For family entertainment, a visit to Whitstable Castle, with its tea room, beautiful gardens, and play park, is highly recommended. The town offers a wide selection of restaurants and unique boutiques to explore. Further afield, the magnificent Canterbury Cathedral and Herne Bay's Victorian pier are both easily accessible via a short twenty-minute bus journey from Whitstable.
You have access to all areas in the property apart from the wall cupboards on the 1st floor landing and the lock ups in the garden.
The modern kitchen provides an ideal space to prepare and serve local delicacies in the spacious dining room, conveniently located off the welcoming entrance hallway. After enjoying a delicious meal, guests can unwind by the inviting log fire in the separate living room, creating a cosy ambience. A conveniently located ground-floor bathroom features a newly fitted shower suite, perfect for rinsing off after a day enjoying Whitstable's beaches.
The first floor offers two spacious bedrooms – one double and one king-size – along with a further single bedroom and another bathroom with a shower over the bath, making this floor ideal for families.
Ascending to the second floor, which offers views over the rooftops and harbour, you'll discover a twin bedroom and a fifth bedroom furnished with a double bed.
The outside space features a simple decked area, complete with a table and chairs for al-fresco dining and sunbeds for relaxation. This area also includes off-street gated parking for 2-3 cars.
There is off street parking for 2 cars and there is free street parking on the road and surrounding roads. The nearest paid parking is Gorrell Tank Car Park. Whitstable Train Station, on Railway Avenue, is the cheapest car park if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Street parking can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into town, beach, shops etc.

There are frequent buses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus stops along Harbour Street, High Street, Oxford Street etc.
The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable Train Station is about a 10 minute walk to the town centre.
Whitstable Taxi services are available for short fares or airport runs.
The nearest airports are in London and the nearest Ferry port is in Dover.

Note: The access to the single bedroom and this bathroom from the other first-floor bedrooms involves a few steps down.
Note: The traditional ceilings are low in the 2nd floor bedrooms so tall people may need to watch their heads!
Note: The front garden is a large private gated paved courtyard with seating on a decked area and has space for 2-3 cars.
