Enjoy easy access to Big Mountain Resort for skiing & summer activities - it is a 15-minute drive, or you can catch the free S.N.O.W. Bus shuttle. Big Mountain Resort is home to 3,000+ acres of award-winning ski slopes! The bike path entrance leading to Whitefish Lake is right at the end of the street, making for a 20-minute walk or 10-minute bike ride to Whitefish Lake's City Beach. Glacier National Park is a 45-minute drive and boasts breathtaking vistas & endless opportunities for adventure.

The O'Brien building beautifully integrates modern design with a rustic Montana aesthetic. The building has an elevator that provides access to all 3 floors. This penthouse unit has two dedicated, covered parking spaces as well as its own ski locker usable for storing outdoor gear year-round. O'Brien Penthouse West is a luxurious 3-bedroom / 3 bathroom, 1835 sq ft. Penthouse condo. As you enter this expansive downtown unit, you are met with high ceilings throughout & a beautiful wood-inlaid vaulted ceiling in the main living area. The open concept kitchen & living room offers plenty of space for your group to connect and enjoy time together. The centerpiece of the living area is a large gas fireplace with beautiful custom stonework. Both sides of the living room feature accordion-style glass doors that open out to two patios with views of Big Mountain, Lion Mountain & the Whitefish River.The fully-equipped kitchen features high-end appliances including a double oven & everything you will need to create memorable meals with your group. The living area also has a wet bar with a wine refrigerator and ice machine.

The three bedrooms and baths are off the main hallway. Bedroom 1, the master suite, is beautifully appointed with high-end furnishings and a cozy king-size bed. The master suite has walk-out access to the north patio. The spa-like master ensuite features custom tile work, double vanity, luxurious steam shower & heated electronic toilet. Bedroom 2, the bunk room, has a twin over full-sized bunk bed with an additional twin trundle underneath. The bunk room also has a full ensuite with a bathtub, double vanity, and a heated electronic toilet. Bedroom 3 offers a queen-size bed with a full ensuite and access to the south patio. The ensuite for this bedroom features a double vanity, steam shower, heated electronic toilet, and also has hallway access to service the main living area.

In the winter, downhill skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort provides 3,000+ skiable acres, 14 lifts with terrain for all skill levels and stunning views. The resort was recently ranked #3 in the West by Ski Magazine readers! There are plenty of other winter activities from snowmobiling, cross country skiing, ice fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and more. Of course, you'll also want to explore downtown Whitefish eateries and galleries and don't miss Winter Carnival with a parade and skijoring!

This is a beautiful and well maintained condo, and it was perfect for our family of 5. Modern, clean, well decorated, and a well stocked kitchen. My only complaint (and I’m not taking a star off for this bc overall it’s so nice and they were wonderful to deal with) is that there are no light blocking shades in the bedrooms! The sun sets so late and rises so early that it was a real problem for us, especially with a 6 year old, but after a couple of days we had rigged all the bedding to go over the windows. (That was no easy task) Please, fix this bedroom windows issue and we will gladly come back! :)

Great Stay, Would Stay Here Again

We loved this condo; it was actually better in real life than in the pictures. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. The condo had everything we needed, and we could walk to downtown and to the Whitefish River from the condo. Excellent stay. The only thing I'd recommend is blackout shades for the bedrooms--it did not get dark until 11pm in the summer, so the bedrooms had too much light coming in.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We had a lovely stay and truly appreciated how well-appointed the house was — everything we needed to be comfortable was provided, and then some. The outdoor seating areas were a favorite for relaxing and enjoying the views, which were absolutely stunning.That said, we did want to share a few bits of feedback that might help future guests. Unfortunately, we had to dispose of a few birds that had flown into the glass windows. It might be worth looking into decals or other deterrents to help prevent this.The technology in the home is a nice touch, but a printed binder with instructions (especially for the washlets) would be very helpful. We thought we’d seen an email with some guidance but couldn’t find it once we arrived. Also, the washlet in the hallway bathroom had a broken flush button when we arrived — while it still seemed to function properly, it may need some attention.We were also hoping to use the grill during our stay, but never heard back on how to operate it, so we ended up making other dinner plans. And while it may be out of your control, we were surprised there wasn’t a recycling option — something we really value when we travel.Lastly, we’re sure you hear this often, but the microwave placement is a bit awkward to access, even with the step stool.Overall, we had a wonderful time. The views of the mountains were breathtaking, being so close to downtown made dining and shopping easy and fun

Great condo for family

Great location in Whitefish! It was away from the busyness but close enough to walk anywhere. The management company was excellent to work with by providing lots of communication and a couple of extras. Everything was very nice & modern. The only negative I could say is the living room furniture isn’t super comfortable for lounging but we weren't there that much so it wasn't that big of a deal. I would book this unit again.

Great property. We loved the great room and the decks off of each side. One of them got the afternoon sun which was nice. Everyone had their own bathroom. Rachel was nice enough to give us early check-in. The condo was nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make breakfast and snacks. Could have also made dinner if we wanted, but condo was nice and close to town and we walked into town for dinner. Literally only a five minute walk. Great place to stay.

This was my first time to whitefish and this place was the perfect location. The place was perfect, with luxury furnishings and excellent bathrooms. We had four of us and the place felt huge. Spacious luxury with great location

Excellent all around from communication with property managers who helped us get settled in, terrific views from a near downtown location and surprisingly well equipped kitchen. We were a little concerned about being close to both a busy road and a train station but the quality of walls and glass minimized noise. The outdoor space was wonderful and the modern showers made us feel like we had a day at the spa. Would be even better during ski season!

Excellent penthouse condo with great views. Property managers were great and it is a very good value. Close proximity to great restaurants and the entire town. Very walkable. The ski mountain is a short 10 minute drive. The unit is well equipped and furnished. The living room could use perhaps another comfortable chair. Over all a great stay at a wonderful property.
