Thanksgiving family gathering
The communication with our host was prompt and helpful. The property is remarkably spacious. An accurate description of the property is: 4 upstairs bedrooms (3 rooms for adults, each sleep 2 for 6 adults in beds; 1 room for a pair of kids in bunk beds) and 2 downstairs couch/futons options. 2 full bathrooms upstairs. 1 bathroom with shower downstairs. This detail description may help organize guest sleeping options. It was perfect for us. Well appointed kitchen. Coffee pot is Keurig and not drip pot. Huge fridge, plus microwave, plus toaster oven. We made a Thanksgiving feast with no trouble. Large dining room with 6 chair table was great for family night games. Additional kitchen island with 4 chairs. Separate TV room with couches and table. One on-wall large Smart TV. The TV has few embedded streaming options and no cable modem. We were prepared by traveling with Roku. Suggest if guests watch TV they bring their own Apple TV box or Roku. System has HDMI port and house WiFi with good service and bandwidth. Backyard is big with a swingset. We brought soccer ball and pop-up goal. Big enough for 3 v 3 soccer match. Very close to White Plains North and White Plains train stations for easy train on Metro North RR to Grand Central Station for subway everywhere. House is in a nice quiet neighbor in a dead-end cul de sac with no cross traffic and ample driveway parking. We could have used face towels in bathrooms, but just used the big towels. Overall, very high marks.
