A group of my friends stayed in this house for a golf weekend getaway. This house was perfect in every single way. Plenty of bedrooms and space for hanging and relaxing. The wrap around deck and the pool area was popular hangout for our group. The heated pool and sauna were amazing. I will 100% come back here again.

Christine was a wonderful host! I highly recommend this property. We traveled for a bachelorette with 12 girls and the home/property was super accommodating. There was more than enough room for everyone. We felt very at home here. Would love to rent again in the future!

A perfect house for a perfect family weekend

We celebrated my father’s 70th birthday by going to White Lake and celebrating Woodstock at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts/Woodstock museum.Not only is this house perfectly located to the museum, but it is the perfect house in general! We were completely blown away when we arrived, and felt like the pictures didn’t fully capture the beauty of this place in real life. The pool was beautiful and the consensus favorite for all the kids, and the house was spacious and decorated beautifully, and filled with all the amenities you could need for a large group. The mountain breeze and several fans on the outdoor deck allowed us to stay outside for hours in complete comfort. Everything worked great from the sauna to kitchen appliances to streaming tv devices, so there was something for everyone. The cherry on top was walking back to the dock and seeing all the deer and wild turkeys coming in and out of the forest to the creek. The outdoor fire pit under a clear sky was magical.The host was fast to respond and very kind before, during, and after our stay. My dad (and all of us) were completely blown away by how perfect of a weekend we had. We highly recommend and hope to come back again if the opportunity presents itself. Thank you!

Perfect House for a Weekend with Friends

We rented this house for a weekend with friends and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The place is gigantic with tons of space inside and out, making it perfect for a group getaway. The amenities are top-notch. The sauna is amazing, the pool is clean and well-maintained, and there are plenty of rooms and common areas to relax or spread out.Christine was an incredible host. She was very attentive, quick to respond, and clearly cares about creating a great experience for her guests. If you’re looking for a spacious, well-equipped home for a fun and relaxing weekend, this place is a winner. Highly recommend.

Group Getaway

A group of 12 of us rented this property for a family and friends getaway, and we couldn't be happier with our choice. The house offers privacy, with no neighbors in close proximity. Its layout was perfect for our group, comfortably accommodating us across the four bedrooms and spacious basement. During the summer months, we thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful inground pool, which was perfectly heated. Our favorite feature was the wrap-around porch that spans three sides of the house. We absolutely loved it! The porch is spacious, with plenty of seating, ceiling fans to keep you cool, and a cover to protect you from the rain. Other highlights included the firepit (complete with chairs and supplied wood), a large BBQ grill ideal for cooking for a big group, and a well-stocked kitchen with all the necessary platters, plates, cups, and silverware. The host, Christine, was a delight to work with, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Our group has been booking getaway houses like this for nearly a decade, and this experience was definitely one of our favorites. We look forward to returning for years to come!

A Dream Weekend

My friends and I came to celebrate my bachelorette weekend. Everyone was blown away by how gorgeous the home was and the number of ammenities that were available. The sleeping accomodations were perfect and we all really enjoyed sitting outside on the back porch and by the pool. The sauna was a big hit! We were all very sad to leave as this home was so welcoming and charming. I highly reccomend this oasis!!

Incredible place

We recently stayed at this amazing house for a group of friends reunion, and it exceeded all our expectations. Located just 2-3 hours outside the city, it was the perfect distance for a weekend escape without feeling too far from home. The house itself is incredibly spacious, easily accommodating our large group with plenty of room to spare. The amenities were the highlight of our stay—there was something for everyone. We spent our days lounging by the giant pool, enjoying some friendly competition with the lawn games, and unwinding in the sauna in the evenings. The property had everything we needed and more, making it easy to relax and have a great time without ever leaving the grounds.

Great house for a group

We were nine ladies away for a relaxing weekend and this house was perfect! The house was beautiful, clean, well stocked and welcoming with welcome treats and toiletries. Our first day was a stormy one, but the house was so cozy we didn’t mind hanging out inside. Luckily the storm passed and we got to enjoy the wonderful pool. The fire pit had plenty of seats. It was the perfect place to hang out that evening. We also enjoyed the large wrap around porch. This house is great for a family or large group.

Perfect for a group getaway

The property is perfect for a friend group getaway. The house is spacious, clean, and has all of the amenities you could think of. The pool, spacious yard, covered porch, and sauna entertained our group the whole weekend. Christine was very helpful and easy to communicate with.

BEST GIRLS WEEKEND

Wow wow wow, this listing did not do this GORGEOUS home justice!!!! I stayed at this quaint lake house with 13 of my girl friends for 3 nights and we all were blown away with the property. The pool, fire pit and wrap around porch were our favorite features. With 2 acres of property, we were able to play so many fun yard games and enjoy a pool side brunch. The house was only 2.5 hours away from most people making it a super easy weekend getaway. The renters were super responsive and were more accommodating than any other renters I have dealt with! Wine and snacks were put out in multiple locations of the house as a nice gesture. House was super clean and the yard & pool were perfectly maintained. The nearby reservoir was an awesome place to visit and rent a boat for the day. We will definitely be returning in the future, don't sleep on this listing!!!

Long time friends trip.

This beautiful property was even better in person than the fabulous pictures. 11 girlfriends from high school came to celebrate our 65th birthdays. Christine was so sweet leaving a Happy Birthday banner and birthday hats beautifully displayed on the kitchen island along with a very special note. Christine was a dream to deal with. We all enjoyed our morning coffee on the porch overlooking the lake. We spent a lot of time enjoying the gorgeous heated pool. We were very spoiled by this beautiful home. Every room was maticulously decorated and extremely comfortable. We all would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you so much Christine, for your fabulous hospitality. Carol and the girls...❤️

Amazing Lake House

We just returned from a family vacation, 8 adults/5 teens. House is stunning. Pictures do not do it justice. Owners Christine and Steve have thought of everything and were very quick to respond. They went above and beyond with all special touches. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a wonderful welcome basket filled with lots of goodies. Sleeping - Basement had 3 sleeper sofas, queen size bed, bathroom with shower, washer/dryer. Plenty of blankets/pillows were provided. There was a TV and easy access to the backyard. 1st floor had queen size bed and bathroom with shower. Even though it was close to the living area, it was still quiet and private. 2nd floor had 2 beautiful queen size bedrooms, spacious closets. Full bath with tub/shower combo in hallway. Master bedroom was awesome. Coffee bar, very big closet, tv, beautiful veranda with ceiling fan, big full bath with tub/shower combo, vanity and double sinks. Master had thermostat to control the heat/air on the 2nd floor. Eating - The kitchen was big, clean and well stocked. Plenty of cabinet and pantry space. Living area had tv with plenty of room to sit. Lots of board games were provided. 2nd thermostat is near the kitchen to control heat/air on the 1st floor. BBQ was huge and came with spare tank of gas. Porch is big with ceiling fans and plenty of seating to eat, relax and gaze at the lake. There is a freezer outside which was extremely useful. Fun - The pool/pool area was amazing. Pool was kept at a nice temperature, sparkling clean, many rafts and noodles. Sauna is nice and spacious. Fire pit is perfect. Has a lot of seating and large supply of firewood. Bring bug spray, but if you forget there is some on the main floor. 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards are in great shape. Getting into the water was easy using the dock. Large supply of life vests under the deck. We fished along the lake. Caught some small perch and small mouth bass. Yard was great for outdoor fun. Kan Jam, ping pong, corn hole and badminton were provided. Yard gets great shade in late afternoon making it perfect for tournaments. General Area - There are antique shops nearby. Dollar General up the road has everything. We did not leave for anything other than to get ice. The house was too comfy to leave. It felt like we were at a resort. We had an amazing week and would not hesitate to recommend the Oasis to anyone who needs to leave the world behind for a week.

Great lake getaway in the woods

Our two families with four young adult children (17 - 20) really enjoyed our stay at this home. Christine, the owner, was very attentive, and she and her husband truly went out of their way to ensure their guests had everything they need, and provided extras above and beyond what we expected. (i.e. fully stocked Keurig, farm fresh eggs, nice toiletries in bathrooms. and an immaculate home, yard, and pool area). The home is extremely private, and sits on a well-landscaped 2+ acres, and provided the perfect spot for our 4 day family vacation, which included tons of time lounging by the huge pool, in between kayak/paddle board excursions on the lake to search for wildlife visiting the lake from the woods nearby (deer, snapping turtle, bald eagles). We also had a great evening after dinner around the fire pit for the mandatory s'mores night. It's a great home for a family vacation!

Incredible place!

We just got back from staying at this most lovely house in White Lake. My siblings and spouses came from California and us from Philadelphia for a family reunion in the area. Christine and Steve's home is even more beautiful in person than the pictures show on site. Christine always responded very quickly to answer any questions we had and met all of our needs. We used the kayaks, the paddle boards, and the canoe out on the reservoir. The pool was crystal clear and we enjoyed many hours using it along with the floats provided. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to make meals while there. My brother loved the very large grille outside as well. There were so many seating areas outside to gather on the porch or on the lawn and the very large fire pit outside was the nighttime favorite spot to be. I can honestly say that this home was the nicest we have stayed at of all other VRBOs we have tried. Five Plus stars from us on this fabulous home!

Immaculate home & gorgeous property

My family and I enjoyed a fun-filled week at Christine’s amazing Oasis. The hosts thought through every last detail to ensure that we would be comfortable and feel well cared for. The house has an excellent lay out and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked. We spent our days in the heated pool, paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake… Christine even left fishing poles for our use. I booked our visit for next year before the week’s end. I couldn’t recommend this property and the hosts more enthusiastically.

The highlight of our summer

We stayed here in 2020 and loved it so much we reserved it again for 2021 as soon as we checked out. Just like last year the property was beautiful, clean, and well supplied, and there were even some nice upgrades from the previous year. We and our young kids had a wonderful time playing in the pool and lake. The back deck was perfect for sitting and chatting after the kids went to bed. We went on some very pretty hikes in the area and visited a great kid-friendly horse farm. Christine is an excellent host who is always friendly, responsive, and helpful. We can’t recommend this place enough!
