  • This absolutely dreamy lakefront/view property on picturesque Big Springs Road sleeps up to 15 guests. Take in the lake and cove views from the deck and beach, or take a sunset cruise on beautiful Lake Almanor. This home is recently remodeled and redesigned. It is bursting with room for everyone. It includes a wet bar, a large deck with BBQ grill, dock, mooring ball, and lots of outdoor space. Three paddle boards, kayaks and other water toys are also included. This property has everything you need to enjoy Lake Almanor in luxury, comfort and style. This is one of two homes that sit on this property; an upper home and a lower home. The upper home is the one listed on VRBO. The upper home sits at the top portion of this lakefront lot, and the other at the lower part of the lot. You are at lakes edge and on the beach in seconds after a short walk down the driveway and pavered steps. Beautiful Lake Almanor water levels can fluctuate each year based on the snow pack at higher elevations. Our dock is typically kept accessible by boat from early May to Mid-October.

This cabin has a lot to offer a big group! Plenty of space to sleep, a nice deck to enjoy, and you have a private cove to spend your day at the lake! Our group of 10 loved the house! Super clean, great host and great location!

We truly enjoyed our stay and felt right at home. The house was welcoming, clean, and comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the thoughtful touches throughout the home.While there were a couple of small things that could be improved, they didn’t take away from our experience. The host was kind, responsive, and made us feel well taken care of.We made some wonderful memories here and would happily stay again. Host was extremely responsive and available for any needs. Beautiful property. The beach area in the cove and dock are very nice. Cove area was great for paddle boarding. Convenient having access to hosts kayaks and paddle boards. All equipment was stored right there at the beach ready to go.

This beachfront home more than met our expectations. John was instant to answer any questions or concerns. They went out of their way to make accommodations for our daughter and newborn as well as our other grandchildren. The proximity to a private beach, mooring buoy and dock were things we’ve been looking for for years. Great cabin for families. We’ll definitely e back!

John and Susan ( the hosts) were fantastic! They came out to meet us and asked if we had any questions or concerns and we didn’t because the house was really perfect!.We all had a wonderful time.(5 adults and two kids 3 and 6..) The kitchen had everything and the beach and lake access were the best . My granddaughter made sand castles and my grandson had a blast with the trucks . My son and son-in-law used the kayaks and paddle boards and took the kids out on them too. We spent our evenings outside eating dinner some nights and enjoying the fire pit including toasting marshmallows . We can’t wait to go back some day. Thank you Susan and John!

Great time on Lake Almanor. The house was great for access to the water and being able to keep the boat in the water. The bunk room downstairs was awesome for the teenagers.

Lake Almanor does not disappoint!

Great location for anglers and families. Super easy access to lake and a great outdoor gas fire pit on the deck to share fishing stories. John and his wife were awesome host.

Our large family had a great time! Nice to have such great access to the beach and be abie to keep the boat right there. Kitchen on the small side. Beds were quite comfortable and the owner was very responsive when we had an issue with the tv. Would rent again!

Family Vaca at Lake House

The house was well stocked, well decorated, and comfortably accommodated our large group. The property was very close to the beach and we had use of a private sandy beach during our stay. We had a wonderful time and would consider renting this property again.

LOVE this place.

Perfect get away for family’s or friends. It was far and beyond our expectations. Dined in all 3 nights and ate on the deck. Kayaked … water was great. Thank you John!

The host was welcoming, and the house was wonderful. We also rented their lake pontoon boat, and all the grandchildren loved it. Highly recommended.

Really Cozy and Great Location!

We had a wonderful stay! Really cozy and inviting. This house is great for multiple families to share as each level has it's own bedroom and bathroom. Great location in a beautiful cove. The owners have a house on the same lot, so they are close by to help if anything comes up.

Beachfront Property with comfortable accommodations.

Perfect location. Beachfront property, close to gas, store, golf course and restaurants The basement game room was perfect for the kids. Full bathrooms on all three floors was very nice for family. No issues with the home at all, just had to relax and have fun.

Great Family Vacation!

We had the best family trip here. The house was great and location right on the lake. They had a private beach and a lot of water toys for all ages. We were able to rent a pontoon boat a couple of miles away for one day. Great outdoor deck with a grill, fire pit and table. We highly recommend it - we had our whole family of 12 there!

4 generations at the lake

We rented this property for a wedding celebration and had great grandparents, grandparents, parents and kids. The location at the lake was fantastic and it was also close to Bailey Creek golf course. Our only frustration was that the staircase to the basement was very difficult for older people and small children.

Great cabin and loca

We had a wonderful family reunion at this cabin. There was some noise and dust from construction on the first day only, but the owner resolved them immediately and the rest of the week was perfect. The lake access was good. We especially enjoyed the two kayaks and two paddle boards that were included!
