Everything was well stocked and most all worked. Lights in MBR did not light the room. Black mold on ceiling in main bthrm. Other than that we loved it!

We love that it is right in front of the docks- just need to cross the street. We did not like that there was no reply for the whole 3 days from the local manager to our repeated requests for something to kill the spiders, a wastebasket for the bathroom, and to clean the very moldy bathroom ceiling. We were also given incorrect information about how to connect to the WiFi but were eventually able to get that resolved.

Great location, walking distance to shops and restaurants, kids enjoyed the pool table. The only negatives were, spiderwebs in the corners of every room, the sheets and pillowcases weren’t all the way dry, frying pans are rusty, no salt and no dishwasher. The house is roomy and they supply several games. We had a great family vacation.

Great property except for if you have people above making noise by stomping because you can hear them. Like some of the other comments the internet or the wifi wasn't working even if we reset it. Perfect for people traveling to fish....Right across from harbor.

Great location, bathroom floor issues

My family rented the bottom unit for a weekend while our family friends rented the upper unit. That worked out really well for two families going away together for the weekend. The location is great with being able to crab & fish right across the street & it’s a short walk to the shops & restaurants & beach. The apartment was comfortable enough. The bedroom with the queen bed is super small with not a lot of room around the bed. There is no window in the room either. The kitchen is small. No dishwasher. I would advise providing things like tin foil, ziplock bags, & seran wrap. There was a pool table in the garage that wasn’t advertised, but perhaps should be as it is a nice amenity. The main issue we had with the apartment is the bathroom had dark brown liquid oozing from the seams of the vinyl plank flooring. It was gross & concerning. I definitely would recommend remediation of that before renting it out again.

Great location in town, close to all the shops along the waterfront. Place was clean, living room was nice, one room was small with a bigger bed, other room was bigger with a smaller bed. Bench out front was nice to sit on in the morning with coffee, pool table in the garage was fun to play at night. Only complaint was that it smelled pretty musty in the back room so we slept in the other bedroom but it’s a waterfront home so I’m sure battling moisture is a problem and it didn’t ruin our experience.

Great location and clean property

It was a perfect location right at marina. Nice surprise for teen son to have pool table! It is a very unique layout but charming. One bedroom is very small and hard to maneuver but doable. Place was very clean and would recommend if someone wanted to be so close.

Good location.

Bed availability was not as described. Hideabed was only a twin air bed, with no pump available to inflate. Other bed was a double in which is extremely cozy for 2 adults, not to mention having to squeeze a child in due to un sleepable hideabed. Otherwise facility was clean. Great location. Supplied well.

Excellent location. Memories of bathrooms on a train, the 1/2 bath in the primary suite! Second bedroom does not have privacy walls and the queen bed fills the room. It was impossible to put belongings--no closet or space. We did a crab walk if you were between bed and the wall! Beds were comfortable. A privacy screen would be nice for the trundle day bed in the living room--lights from the street coming through the door, and maybe a small chest of drawers. Loved the pool table and Elton John CD. Please double check dishware and cooking utensils we cleaned before we used.

Family get away

This was only the second time away for our family since the beginning of Covid. We felt safe because we were all vaccinated and most people were masked in the stores. The property was very convenient for walking to beaches and enjoying the marina. That being said, the quirky bathrooms should have been advertised on the site. One of them could not really be called a bathroom and the other one had a shower so small that even turning around in it was difficult. They both could use a good cleaning. There were no outlets for charging phones or lamps for reading in the back bedroom. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the pool table and movies on the huge TV.

Nice space, air bed needs a pump, instructions on trash would be useful, kitchen was loosely Appointed. no salt, no coffee filters, but there was an immersion blender and a keurig. Beds had plenty of linens, lots of towels, laundry soap was unscented. Nice space, lots of activities in town.

inadequate communication and basic staples

We were unable to use television, when we looked up specific info about the property it basically said to turn off and turn on again. Would be helpful to have specific instruction as we are not familiar with a "smart" tv. The literature made it clear there was no one to call unless it was an emergency. The kitchen had very minimal supplies, no saran wrap, foil, salt or pepper, coffee pot very small for a unit that could potentially sleep 7 people. Disconcerting that the bedroom with biggest bed does not have a complete wall that goes to the ceiling, thus no privacy if there was a larger group. No instructions on what to do with full garbage bags, we were taking it to public garbage cans on street and then on our last day saw the can in the back of the house. Basically the main thing that would have helped was written instructions on tv, garbage, also there was a barbecue in the back we didn't know about or if we were welcome to use it, also the garage area we didn't find out until we were leaving was full of recreational equipment. Since the connecting door was locked we did not disturb it, thinking it was another bedroom we were not supposed to use. Need more clear communication at the house about the specific property.

Home away from home

This was a great getaway for us over Spring Break while some work was being done on the interior of our house. Everything in the main area of Westport is within walking distance and you can watch the boats come and go all day from your front window. At times the fishermen's trucks coming and going throughout the night to load and unload boats got a little noisy but by the third night we were used to it. We thoroughly enjoyed the bonus room with the pool table and noticed there were other supplies available for those who may want to go clam digging, drop a crab pot, or go boogie boarding.the bathrooms are tiny but everything was well stocked throughout the house. We enjoyed our stay.
