River Haven - Rest and relaxation guaranteed!

Come find rest and relaxation at River Haven. Our beautiful new cottage is located directly on the banks of the Chauga River and is secluded within 10 acres.

The cottage is light and airy with large windows and high ceilings throughout for viewing the river and surrounding area. The cozy, well appointed living space provides a complete kitchen, master bedroom, living area with sleeping sofa, and bath. In addition to the beautiful indoor space, two porches and a hammock area are available to enjoy the rushing river sounds. A riverside firepit and sitting area will also provide an excellent opportunity for relaxation.

Visitors of River Haven, will enjoy fishing, tubing, kayaking, and swimming in front of the cabin or simply curling up with a book listening to the river. Also you may experience the thrill of Chattooga White Water rafting just 15 minutes from the cottage.

If you enjoy hiking, nearby waterfalls provide for wonderful hiking opportunities. Boating and skiing activities can also be enjoyed on nearby Keowee, Jocassee, and Hartwell lakes. Other areas of interest nearby are Chattooga Belle Farm Distillery & Vineyards, Clemson University Tiger football, Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, Duke Power World of Energy, antiquing, White Water Falls, Chattooga white water rafting, visit to Clayton, Ga and shopping just to name a few.

Beautiful cozy cottage on a nestled amongst the trees on the most peaceful piece of land. The babbling of the Chauga will make you want to sit on the porch all day. The cottage is beautifully decorated and provides all essential needs.

Great Anniversary Get-Away

When we drove onto the property down the long, winding and rolling driveway headed to our own personal wilderness retreat, the stress level immediately began to ease. We really enjoyed our stay and even rediscovered the beauty of nap time! The cabin was quaint and secluded. One of the best highlights was viewing the stars from our bed! Really forward to coming back in cooler weather to try out the hammock and fire pit by the river

River Haven Getaway

We had such a a nice time on the river swimming, fishing and checking out the area! There's a lot to see and do nearby and it's close to Ingles and several restaurants. The listing is accurate and the location is secluded and private. The house is very small, but clean and cozy and there is plenty of outdoor spaces. Check in and check out was straight forward and easy.

Fun on the river

It's a great place, I have stayed a couple of times, this time was the first,we didn't have beach towels, but other than that it was great,and there's one step going to picnic area that's loose,if you remember it you will be fine,it is a great spot,did have a scorpion on curtain, but that happens when near water, I just checked everything and it's all great, that happens.Just me and the kids went.we had a wonderful time, I will stay again and tell everyone about your place.

Awesome Romantic Getaway

This property is beautiful, my girlfriend and I loved it. It’s pretty deep in the forest for a suburban couple like us. Very remote. The river was nice, and the scenery was nice. I would recommend a truck, or vehicle that does well off-road when traveling here. There is a hike to a waterfall about a 10-15 minute drive from the cabin which was awesome to experience. The only think you’ll need to watch out for is bugs/insects, ofcourse that comes with being in a forest near a river, but other than that we have no issues/complaints. If you’re looking to get away and disconnect from the world for a while, this is the spot to do it!

Great, cozy stay

The house was just as described. Right on the river, well-appointed, clean and cozy. Loved the furnishings and lamp lighting inside and the porch life outside. Strong WiFi and smart tv was a plus, and it’s about 10 minutes from an Ingles. Would definitely recommend!
