Rainbow Point Retreat

Beautiful home amongst the willows by Hebgen Lake! Escape to the beauty and tranquility of Montana at this charming getaway, adjacent to Hebgen Lake, where peaceful surroundings and comfortable accommodations come together for the perfect vacation. The home is surrounded by willows, creating privacy from boaters and the nearby campground. Just a short walk away you will find the Rainbow Point public access with beachfront picnic tables and a boat ramp.



This spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom retreat comfortably accommodates families and groups, with thoughtfully arranged sleeping spaces including one king bed, one queen bed, and two double beds. The bedroom with the two double beds features a private ensuite bathroom, while an additional full bathroom serves the rest of the home. There are a couple stairs to the entrance, but then the entire home is on one level making it very easy to accommodate multiple generations.



Step outside and enjoy the fresh mountain air from the beautiful lawn, gather around the private outdoor fire pit for evening conversation and s’mores, or simply relax and take in the natural surroundings. During periods of peak water depth, guests can also enjoy access to a private dock, providing a wonderful spot to enjoy the lake and make the most of your time on the water.



Whether you're planning a family vacation, a relaxing weekend with friends, or an outdoor adventure, this mountain lake retreat offers a comfortable home base for making lasting memories.



The Space:

This beautiful property has 3 cabins as well as a garage with living quarters for the caretakers. Although there may be other people on the large property, you do have privacy in the large yard. You will only see other people in the parking area. Parking for boat, atv, or snowmobile trailers can be accommodated. Please inquire if you have multiple trailers.

The Neighborhood:

This quiet property is tucked amongst the willows along the shore of Hebgen Lake. There is a campground along the road leading up to the property, as well as a public beach and boat ramp.



Getting Around:

The property is just a 15 minute drive to West Yellowstone. Approximately 3 miles of the drive is on a dirt road. Please obey all posted speed limit signs, especially through the campground where there may be pedestrians and animals crossing to and from the lake. The road is maintained by the county.



Other Things to Note:

Hebgen Lake is a reservoir. Depending on Lake levels, you may have access to a private dock. Hebgen Lake is also subject to any closures by the Custer-Gallatin National Forest. Lake access is not guaranteed from the house.



Interaction with Guests:

There is contactless check-in, but we are just 15 minutes away if there are any issues. There is also a caretaker on site for any immediate needs.
