« Very clean beautiful quiet place to stay. Didn’t really see staff except to get key. She handed us the key when we walked in door and pointed where to go. Didn’t say welcome or tell us anything about the place. Just might have been nice to feel welcomed and little about the place and area. Felt more like she wanted us to just go to room. Granted it was 4:25 but they didn’t close until 5. The room was very nice and clean. Bed was terrible though. Hard and you can’t move without it sounding like...

« To start, the drain pipe on the front of the hotel was on the ground. Great sign of how the rooms are maintained (they're not). We walk in the front door at about 10pm and see another couple who had been waiting for a clerk to check them in for 15 minutes. One of them went behind the counter in the back room trying to find an employee. « I did like the property and the design of the room was nice. The hotel is convenient to Walmart, food places and the University. My only issue were one of the two rooms I rented the sheets and pillows weren’t clean. There was makeup all over the pillow case when pulled back and on the sheet. Which was surprising because the bed was neatly made. We did notify the front desk to have someone come and change the bedding. « The room was soooo filthy we didn't stay....the room had bugs, both dead and alive; it stunk like an ash tray, despite being a "smoke free room"; when we asked why the room was so filthy we were told because the facility is an extended stay hotel...not sure what that has to do with proper cleaning but...word to all...DON'T STAY HERE!!!! The front desk told us, "This is what happens when you stay at a ghetto hotel". DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! »

« This is not a fancy upscale place. The price is appropriate. We just needed a place to sleep for the night. Our rooms were clean, shower had plenty of hot water. the water pressure was good, and the AC worked great. The beds were comfortable. They only had a grab bag for breakfast. We opted for a Whataburger just down the road. Maverick is the place to go for fresh ground and brewed coffee. If I am in this area and need a room for the night, I would stay here again. »
