« Fantastic service from the owners, they made us feel very welcome upon arrival. The beds were super comfortable and that was coupled with a great view. Lots of little details which added character to the room and gave it a homey feel such as small ornaments. The breakfast was lovely, a large selection of cold meats, pastries etc even though it was only us staying. Only a 10 minute drive to Newtown so it has everything you need. »

« We arrived at 6pm and waited 10 minutes to check in. The room we reserved was unavailable. We drove for 20 minutes on single track to arrived from Shrewsbury. The breakfast was none existent. The room was clean and tidy but the lighting was terrible. I think 6.0 rate is suitable. »

« A real hidden jem in a small village with lots of facilities. Opposite the Castle and duck pond. Not far to lots of tourist hotspots and when you get back plenty of free parking. Its an old building with creaking floorboards but that odds to the charm. »

« This is not a hotel or a B&B, its a room with shared Bathroom/Toilet. There is no check-in but a key-code which is not a problem. Check-in is at 15.00 and check-out is at 10.00 Apart from the front of the building we never saw anything remotely Tudor in our room. You will be asked for a deposit but to be honest there is nothing in the room worth £100.00. The Bed was clean and not uncomfortable and the owner is helpful when you ask for anything. »
