« My husband is a huge antique fan and this house has a lot. The location was nice and close to bigger cities but yet still far enough away. There was a lot of traffic noise but this could be due to the highway road construction. The owner was very tentative when we talked with her. It was also nice that it is pet friendly. If you are looking for an old farmhouse get away yet still close to modern amenities this is a perfect place to stay. »

« Great location! My mom and I absolutely loved the General’s Hideaway for our trip to Gettysburg. We even loved the pool table and played a few games. We brought my Mom’s service dog with us and the hosts made sure to include a bed and supplies for him if needed, which was very sweet of them. We brought food to cook during our stay and finding everything in the kitchen was a breeze! We loved the layout. The beds were extremely comfortable as well.
